Evening all and a warm welcome to the new peoples :hello:
Well done all those getting a start on the month already :T :T
I'll catch up with the challenger list t/m as had a bit of a hectic week so far.
I've made £7.40 on surveys today, including the pine-tree people :j Some sites are getting close to paying out, so fingers xd for soon.
Question for Aesop. I have calculated that it is now cheaper for me to have a packaged bank account, adding up what we pay atm for travel and mobile insurance and breakdown rescue. As a bonus we also get lost/stolen cards and identity theft service. Means quite a bit of sorting out and giving them all the various details but might be useful in the futureCan I count all the savings I'll make this year in December, when I get the exact figures sorted ?
Hope you all have a fabulous Friday

Recived £10 from receipt h@g and £6 tree people.
OH out all day tomorrow on a jolly so I'm planning to raid the attic, to start getting some the Dec's down but not up and hoping to find some treasures to list on ebay.
Really could do with some extra funds, i've budgeted for the Christmas spending but it's still a shocking amount in one month.
This month also have 3 birthdays, OH, son and grandaughter and had a wedding in November, got another this month and January.
Quaking at the cost of it all, but must always remember memories made.

Just checked my TCB balance to see that the £2.80 cashback for a purchase I made very recently has already become payable after 3 weeks:j. Only a small amount but it doesn't take much to send me into raptures:rotfl:. Unfortunately I had to send the item back for a full refund:( (they should have received it by now although the refund hasn't been received yet). I assume the retailer will claw the cashback back from TCB so it's just as well I didn't withdraw it. Leaves my total still just under the redemption level again if so.0

Hi all
Off the mark with £4.50 MOC and £5 Halifax reward (first one for months as spent most of the year in my overdraft) so £9.50 I have quite a bit pending on topcashback and quidco so hoping they will confirm this month. Been really busy again - dad came out of hospital on Thursday but had to go back in last night. Hopefully he's on the mend now and he's in local hospital this time so much easier for visiting.
We have been very busy with the business this week and are selling at a Christmas fair tomorrow so hopefully that will go well. Won't be counting anything made in this challenge but will be hoping for a good result.
Hope you are all well

I hope your Christmas Fair went well, shariann
. A lot better than our local one;)
OH was roped in at the last minute to be a stand-in Santa. He was probably the only available man who the suit fitted, he's certainly got the figure to be Santa:rotfl:. The event was in the church of the next village to ours (we don't even attend:o) and in the 4 hour event not one child turned up:eek:. One woman came in with a tiny baby but OH didn't get into his spiel as the baby was fast asleep;). OH was so bored, plus it was freezing cold in the church. There are very few children within miles of here but the event was reasonably well advertised and the ad said all children attending would get a gift from Santa. There was no entrance fee either, I would have expected some children to turn up. I think there are too many of these events round here with lots of very small villages all with their own church and all putting on similar events within days of each other.
Loads of refreshments remained uneaten and OH came home with lots of lovely free nibbles and mince pies that the organisers were eager to get rid of. I had a very nice nosh as I was watching Strictly:beer:0
