Mostly ladies......cackling ladies..........loud ladies!!! Honestly... some are worse than men when they get a few wines down them!!

Anyway........tips were reasonable......£13.20 each for the six staff working and about £55 extra in wages so not too disgruntled. :D:D

lol well done. we went for our xmas do last week and our Managers left a £100 cash tip for the staff as when they asked the staff said they wouldn't receive it if paid by credit card.
  • I think its disgusting when staff dont get the tips that are left.

There is a large restaurant in our town and it is well known that the staff dont get the tips left for them, they go straight in the owners pocket so customers dont bother leaving anything.

Even when a credit card tip is left. we still get the tips.

Working with the general public can be challenging at the best of times and the gesture of a tip is much appreciated.

    Hi all :wave

I hope everyone is well in the last week run up to christmas.

The Christmas present spends have been finished, only to food to go, it makes me feel more on top of my finances now. I like the routine of knowing my regular bills and can budget accordingly but presents spends seem to fluctuate, although i always try to shop around, use vouchers and points to get the best price.

So far so good on my £10 a day, up to £234.30 but i'm not sure if i'm going to reach my target. Stopped listing on ebay until after Christmas in case a item sent gets lost in the christmas post. Survey payouts could take longer due to the bank holidays. Sounds a bit bah humbug.

Might have to make up for it in January, but i think that every month :rotfl:

    Afternoon folks

Sorry been MIA but well done all the money-makers :T

Don't laugh - well you probably will - but I fell out of bed on Wednesday night. Fast asleep until I hit the floor, landing on my front with my left hand under me. Plenty of bruises but sorest is damaged left hand (like a purple balloon) and my poor ribs. So typing with one hand and trying not to laugh, cough etc - oh well, could be worse eh :rotfl:

Have managed my weekly scans so just £2.50 to add so far.

Hope you all having a lovely weekend and have a super Monday

Well, I'm well and truly in my overdraft this month BUT it is the first time in ages and I'm pretty confident I'll be able to haul myself out of it by the end of January. If anything it'll be added motivation to get back in the swing of things in the new year.
