  • Have a great Christmas Aesop!!

Why is it that this "fun" time of year brings so much stress to us women?

And then after the event when we are asked "Had a nice Christmas?"

    "Lovely thanks" is the reply.

    Soon all be over :D

I much prefer the New Year when we can make fresh starts and try to improve our lives in whichever way we can.

    £9 tips to add

    £25 Christmas bonus

    £90 interest

Really miffed when I got my wage slip. Some of you may remember I was praising my OH for doing the married tax thing as I am just on borderline for earnings. He got about £150 extra in his wages. Seems all the extra work I have been putting in this month has taken me over the earning threshold and they took it back out of my wages. £172 tax when I normally pay nothing!!!

I wont be saying yes if asked to do more hours from now on which is hard as I know it leaves them short staffed but they need to get new staff sorted.

    "Happy Christmas everyone! :D

  • Another £12.11 to add today used my co-op membership points to pay for some shopping. Surprising how soon it mounts up.

Not sure if I will get on much over the next few days so just in case I don't I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and New year

    Hi all,
I've not been so good at this, the most I muster is about 50p a day in survey type stuff with the odd £3 from the tree people.
Did manage to utilise £20 in shopping vouchers this month and about £27 worth of survey money.

I will stick with the thread though as it is quite motivating.

    Thank you Lynne, you're a real sweetie:A

Sorry I haven't been around for ages, sadly RL has well and truly got in the way. Not even anything Christmas related either:(. Today's 'missive' is anything but cheerful:o

I've tried to have a quick read of the various threads I'm interested in but had so little time to post, plus, apart from all the other stuff, a massive tree (not ours) has dislodged our telephone wires and the engineer has been out twice. I doubt we'll be seeing him over Christmas should it go wrong again so I've been trying to make my online dealings very short and sweet. Fingers crossed things seem OK today so I'm posting like crazy but with the high winds I'm not holding my breath for a connected Christmas:(.

Sorry to read about your fall, Lynne. I hope you are recovered fully and can enjoy Christmas pain-free:kisses3:

Massive congratulations to everyone who has managed to make money this past couple of weeks and has taken the time and trouble to post on here to tell us about it:j. You're all stars:A

I'm ashamed to say that I've had to take eye totally off the ball this month:o. This is the very worst total I'll have made for any month since I joined the challenge and there's not much prospect of any improvement before Big Ben strikes:(. I love your enthusiasm, Lynne, and hope people manage to keep going to the end of the last week as you've encouraged us to do:T. I'll start tackling 2017 with a vengeance though;)

I'd just like to wish everyone a memorable Christmas and the chance to relax (if such a thing is possible) and spend some quality time with loved ones:xmassign::xmastree::beer:.
