We know. But that's the irrelevant deadline for paying the bribe. Why are you even reading it? Did we say to worry about the 14 days? No.
I suggest you re-read the advice you already have from us, we told you how to appeal. These are nigh on impossible to lose at POPLA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Smart Parking sent me an email saying they have cancelled the PCN. Matalan were no help.0

Possibly a bit of both. Go and complain to Matalan, at the same time follow the NEWBIES FAQ sticky advice about sending the initial appeal to the PPC.
