NSD number 2 here today. Will be teaching two science classes at a secondary today. Hoping to get an enthusiastic class like the first one last time. The one after was like talking to a wall.
Kids had St. Nikolaus this morning and were happy with the presents he brought (just a onesie for the cold nights and some sweeties). The postman rang the bell late last night while the kids were polishing their boots. We have a glass door, he was dressed in red and wore a light, so DD (2) totally freaked thinking it was St. Nikolaus at the door.
DH started another home brew last night and I just got chores done. Hopefully tonight we will get round to writing some christmas cards.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Morning everyone. I have no intention of spending today so adding it on to keep me on track 4/15 SFD's
Will be a grandma again by Tuesday they are not going to let my daughter go past her due date. Excited and nervous. I am a worry monster.
Feeling bad I ate chocolate log for brekkie oops.
Tea is going to be jacket potato with tuna probably and whatever veg is still lurking in fridge. Still got homemade parsnip soup left for lunch today.
Looking forward to the weekend and a gig on Sunday otherwise staying in and saving money until then. Whilst annoying friend posts pics of every meal out on facebook.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Posting and running tonight - can't get warm (even though have 3 layers on upper body, socks and fluffy slippers - and heating on at 23!!!!) - think I am over tired so grabbing some food shortly and having an early night.
Not SFD yesterday - Ald1 and tesc0 shopping - will update sig hopefully tomorrow. Also got cash out for DS1's Xmas meal (he's had to take cash to cadets tonight but I didn't want to spoil a SFD today just for that) Had lunch out with a relative today - but they kindly paidOooh - also got OH's present yesterday and managed to save £16 on it (on best market price) through a work's incentive, so pleased with that
Possible SFD tomorrow, maybe even Thurs. Def not Fri as want to finish off all Xmas shopping if I can (have a list)I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
A few food options left - found a lone can of baked beans lurking on the shelf but decided to little Arseda. Spent £18.78 (added to signature), did quite well on ys items and have bought lots of sandwich items (ys crustless wholemeal and a white loaf for soft toast and to go with the beans), 4 ys yoghurts (more available but they start to separate ), a bag of frozen chips (will pair with the white fish I have and try to save the tuna and salmon for festive days).
Bought lemon juice and grain mustard for the store cupboard, a small pack of ys fresh prawns which are already in the freezer (from Christmas food wish list) and a couple of ys items that may be used now or may be frozen for buffet food.
Absolutely worn out, so back on the bed, sewing. Had to go downstairs and put the bin out (very early) and brought food back up with me (including yoghurt fo tomorrow 's breakfast. Thinking I might not go to crafts tomorrow. I don't like missing it but it's three times as far as little Arseda, bus stop at this end is nearly at Arseda and getting across the road at the other end is always a hassle.
May stay home tomorrow, try to go to Thursday meet up (bus hopping or taxi) and then start planning for next Tuesday - I have a doctor's appointment in the evening so if well enough could buy an all day bus ticket and get through as many tasks as possible.
Today I am grateful for sleep (slept wonderfully last night), hot baths (really reviving) and managing a task even if it was a bit of a slog (having food options in the cupboard makes for less stress). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Evening everyone,
I unintentionally had my first NSD of the month. I was planning to go to the cinema to see Sully (and munch on popcorn) but when I went to book it I noticed I was being charged an extra £2.25 as the film was being shown in a ‘superscreen’. I wasn’t willing to pay that so I’ll head along once its playing on a ‘normal’ screen.
I made a start on paring down my possessions, throwing away some bottle teats the little one has grown out of and a tube of eczema cream prescribed by the doctor which expired over 2 years ago!
I’ve read quite a bit of my book today and I’m planning to read some more after having a quick browse on the forums.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000
