"Parking Inspector" sorry you are not getting this at all, these are scammers, even when they employ on site staff they can in no way be considered "parking inspectors" more like incentivise Muppets.
You must get any degree of fair play and it's a fair cop out of your mind, these schemes are designed to be as difficult as possible and their procedures are just about making money.0 -
Yep, there is no fine and no 'inspector' or warden.
These are ex-clampers after a fast buck from weak victims. Don't be that person.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Coupon-mad. Ive seen all the posts youve made on this forum and know how helpful youve been to others.
Ill send them an email (using the template you provided in the 'Newbie' post) with a scan of the parking ticket. Unfortunately I wont be able to get photos of the parking signage because its quite far from me.
My concern is that £60 will turn into £100 which could possibly go to court and Ill end up owing more. I have a very busy job/personal life and getting embroiled in this will lead to added pressure and its easier to just pay the £60. I know this isnt the way to think, so Ill send them the email and see what happens next.0 -
exacly why they use smoke and mirrors to sc@m the public , they know bully boy tactics work, so their next victim will be an 85 year old war vet with poor health0

Easy.
Do not pay, it is not a dilemma NOT to fund and support the next PCNs against the next victims.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Be very careful not to even hint at the driver's identity.
Do not say I parked, or anything like that.
There are two players. The Driver, and The Keeper. As far as anyone is concerned they are two different people.
You will need to supply the keeper's name, address, and NTK number.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

So is the view that under no circumstances are these fines legally enforceable? For example, if I park, buy a ticket, and then come back 4 hours past when the ticket expires, I can just lodge an appeal, ignore the threatening letters and it will be fine?
I agree that these PPCs are scam artists and militant, but surely they serve a purpose otherwise noone would ever pay for parking?
(btw: I am in no way defending PPCs! Ive been caught out twice by them. I'm just curious to hear your opinions on this).0 -
