Just cancel the Direct Debit over internet banking, and they will send you a letter saying you have cancelled.

    also another thing about talktalk

    WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS,
    1,THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT
    2,WE DONT NEED TALKTALK
3,WE COULD GO ELSEWHERE FOR BETTER SERVICE,
    4,TALKTALK NEED US
5,WE NEED TO BATTLE TOGETHER TO MAKE TALK TALK A BETTER COMPANY OR GO ELSE WHERE TO SHUT THEM DOWN
6,WHY DO THEY HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE?THEIR IS NO SERVICE FROM THEM AT ALL
7,I WILL HAVE TO BE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED BEFORE I AM TWISTED IN STAYING WITH TALKTALK FOR LONG,

I am going to pre-order my new RELIABLE phone and interned when my contract is up unless they make it worth my while and get GOOD staff or atleast put me through to a ENGLISH call centre so i can understand them and their service will have to be FULLY RELIABLE before i stay

just out of interest has any of yous searched for the troubles with talktalk before signing up?
or did you all sign up due to the low price like i did?

I had heard there were problems but the deal was too good to pass. Been with them 13 months now, the only problem was at the beginning when they wanted to charge me £10 pm for the bband, having advised me when signing up that it would be free. Emailed Charles Dunstone, someone got back to me straight away, I provided him with dates and times of my calls, turned out they could not get the tapes because they parted company on bad terms with the contarctors who were doing the signup for them, so their error and me quids in. I have not had to call their helplines for the past 11 months, but when I did (for the first two months, i.e. Sep and October last year), to be fair to TTalk, they were always spot on.
