Help popla refused my appeal!

The comments make me feel like I am doomed
Yeah Parking eye keep pulling out the beavis case so I didn't really deny or say much about the amount owed because I knew it wouldn't work anyway. POPLA still went all in though as if I was disputing the amount owed when really I wasn't bothered.
I find it funny that if I had paid when I got the ticket it would have been £40 and now it's £70.
I'm so sad that Aldi can't help me because now Il have to wait for these debt letters to come
Seeing as PE don't sue people, re Aldi car parks I have no idea why you are so concerned. No-one told you to PHONE Aldi or the BPA! Why do so many people think their phone is their only option? Put complaints in writing/email and don't write in a way as to be a pushover!
All you had to do was Google 'Aldi contact us' and email them a ROBUST complaint attaching your receipt and demanding it is cancelled.
And email the BPA and POPLA to complain that PE have not allowed the required two Grace Periods before and after parking and did POPLA's Samuel Connop actually think your teleported into the space on the dot of arrival? That POPLA Assessor seems to have no understanding of the TWO Grace periods.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Ralph i cant seem to find any example letters complaining to retailer. Im not sure if im looking in the wrong place but i did try checking the newbie thread but i couldnt find any example letters.
If you have any link for any example letters i would be so grateful!0 -
There is a link there in the NEWBIES thread near the top, called 'successful complaints about PPCs' which you can find easily because it's called exactly that. You aren't reading this forum on your phone are you?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The BPA limited are nothing more than a trade association, they operate for the benefit of their members, and not you.
POPLA are funded by the BPA, and yes it should be possible to get a PPC ticket cancelled by POPLA and in some cases this can be an easy solution, POPLA are far from independent.
As for the retailer/landowner, they in almost all cases are what is called the principal, and the parking company are its agents.
This means that as principal they can instruct their agents to cancel any charge at any stage ( even upto the day of court )
It alos menas that they are jointly and severally liable for the actions of their agents, so if PE are harassing you/wasting your time the landowner ( in this case ALDI) is also liable, although you should inform all parties from the start that you may wish to claim expenses for time wasted etc from both the principal and agent.
I have dealt with PE at ALdi stores, ad it usually results on a flustered manager scanning/faxing a copy of the speculative invoice from parking eye off somewhere followed by a letter of discontinuance from parking eye to the registered keeper, and some corporate crap about gesture of goodwill/this time only/as a one off we are cancelling this charge. From the Plain Language Commission:

i dont have a computer so its difficult to find and look through a thread properly. I have checked again and i can see where it says successful complaint and it takes me to another thread that has links to other different threads. This is my first time using this site and i havent got the hang of how to find anything.
i have found details of Aldi head office online however im not sure who i address the complaint to and cant find any email address. I still need to find a example letter but once i do should i also mention the 2 grace periods and how these were not taken into account etc
I have no idea what to write in the letter at the moment0 -

where was this Store located ?

Yes that's it. Those are the threads showing loads of successful complaints. Surely you can write your own complaint email?I have checked again and i can see where it says successful complaint and it takes me to another thread that has links to other different threads.
And you only have to Google 'Aldi complaint' and you find their email addy.
I would use a PC at your local library to get this done; you can't use this forum on a phone.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There's also Aldi Facebook page, they don't seem to like 'customers' complaining in public
