So many possibilities...Thanks Tink
I took all my monthly tasks from October and November and added the 'open' tasks to either January or December task list. I haven't been as good as this as I should. Ideally it it a task best done at the end of each month. As I said in a previous post, my bu-jo is a work in progressIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Oh Tinkerbelle, I think you might have unleashed the bullet journal monster in me!
I'd not heard of them before I came across this thread, but they seem like such a wonderful simple idea. I'm generally a very organised person, with more than a few lists of various things, but they've never been combined in to single place. My lists are usually electronic - they're functional but bland, get the job done, but without any satisfaction.
I watched a few videos, read some guides, then got a little carried away and bought a fancy dotted journal, coloured pens and pencils without even trying it out first and having notebooks at home I could have used. Not very MSE at all.
I've started the journal from Dec 1st, so have not opened with a 'Future Log' (annual planner) - this will come later in the month ready for 2017. The first few pages are in:
- December two-page view - calendar list on the left with events filled in, monthly task list on the right.
- December habit tracker - things to do on a daily basis throughout the month (15-minutes cleaning/sorting, 30-minutes reading, cook a proper meal, no spend days etc.)
- Daily entries for Saturday and Sunday. I think I'll only do these for weekends and days off, as my working day is very regular so there won't really be much to add. Might do a Mon-Fri entry though.
I'm not really artistic, but I've added boxes around headers and coloured those in to make it look a bit brighter.
I've got so many ideas for things I want to add - I'm just going to have to make a list of them! :rotfl: Today I'll be adding Christmas gift buying and ideas for challenges in 2017.0 -

Glad you are enjoying the bullet journal Cool Runnings. I've been using my note pad for a few months now, didn't want to spend the money on the German sounding dotted one. Not very MSE at all lol.
There's no right or wrong way of doing it and if it makes you even more organised all the better. I'm liking what you have started with.

Hi Tinkerbelle! :santa2:
As Cool Runnings said, this is all your fault. Hadn't heard of bu-jos till you mentioned them.
I started mine towards the end of November, using an old notebook for last month and this. Wasn't sure if I'd take to it, but it's actually working out rather well. I'm using it in conjuction with my smartphone because I'm a semi-Luddite who uses Technology, but doesn't really trust it! :rotfl:
I've decided to treat myself and have ordered a 'German dotted one' for 2017. Yellow. I love yellow...
My current set up is very basic and, being artistically challenged, I haven't embarrassed myself by trying to do doodles etc. I may add colour later, though... I do have a Future Log in mine, as I have appointments etc for 2017 already. As it was more than halfway through Nov when I started, I used the odd front page at the beginning to do a November Brain Dump of things to do before the end of the year. Seems to be working.
Still working on the signifiers.A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!
CHALLENGES
2025 Declutter:
1 CONTAINER (box/bag/folder etc) per day; 50/365
1 FROG (minimum) per week; 6/52
WEIGHT I'll start with 25 lbs (though I need to lose more!) and see how it goes...🤔 0/25
2025 NSDs: 15 per MONTH - FEB 4/15; JAN 21/15
2025 Fashion on the Ration: (carried over from 2024) 10+66 = 76
2025 Make Do, Mend & Minimise No target, just remember to report!

If I had the money I would love the teal coloured one. It's on my Christmas list but I'm not holding my breath. DD can't afford it and mum doesn't shop on line :rotfl::rotfl:As of 31st December 2018 Total Debt = £15837.59

I toyed with Teal. But in the end it had to be yellow! :rotfl:
Could you not get DD to tell her gran she'll order one online on her (ie gran's) behalf? You get the journal, your mum gets a present she knows you'll like, DD gets that wonderful virtuous feeling for free (very MSE!)

Wow! So many lists, so little time...:rotfl:
Seriously, thanks Tink. Some of these I've got on the computer (eg packing lists etc), but there's plenty of food for thought here. Can't think of anything else.
BTW, what are Level 10 Life and Level 10 Goals?A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

Hi Basketcase. I think the Level 10 Life things are something that is in the book called Miracle Morning that Boho Berry goes on about. It's like a wheel split into 10 areas of your life like health and family and you mark how satisfied from 1-10 you are in that area of your life.
The Level 10 Goals are what you want to achieve. Like under the family it could say that you want to keep in touch with certain family members more. The more you do this and the more satisfied you are then the more your Level 10 Life will go up.
I think that's the way it is supposed to be interpreted, but you could look at her blog. She is one of my favourite Bullet Journal bloggers. HTH.
