  • I bought some supplies today. I got a bit carried away and bought a cheapest dotted paper notebook with perforated pages to try out dot grids, a notebook and some coloured pens.

Bit worried I will want it to be perfect and not start it.....
  • Great thread Tink :) I'm going to start a bullet journal tomorrow, need to do a bit of research and get my notebook set up.

I thought that too but once I got going the 'mistakes' didn't bother me...(as long as they were neat mistakes :))
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Emergency fund 0/1000
    Buffer fund 0/100
    Debt March -1,119 (April) -889 (April) -498 (April) -378 (May) -875 July (190)
  • My current bullet journal (bu-jo) is a work in progress. I'm thinking of redesigning mine so I have a certain number of pages for everything associated with the month as my bu-jo is getting a little chaotic. I would then know the section I am in. I might keep all my collections grouped together too. I am going to start a menu planning page for each week too.

  • I love this idea, I've never even heard of bullet journals before but I'm definitely intrigued and eager to give it a try!

I was the same Houseplant. Just go for it. If you do make a mistake, just cover it up with something nice (or stick two pages together lol).

Positive Thinking - It's the best thing I ever did to keep myself organised and also to get all of the rubbish out of my head (brain dump). I love that expression lol.
