How old are your tyres?

But surely if the age of a car tyre was that important it would be part of the MOT?

No idea, tyres were on the car when I bought it in July and it's too cold and wet to look. Still plenty of tread though so won't be changing them yet.0

This will no doubt become another fad like changing hydraulic fluid every 2 years. It would be far better doing a check of the car weekly tyres brakes hoses etc.
I remember a friend going through a security check and the guard asked her to open the bonnet and asked if she saw anything unfamiliar there.
Its all unfamiliar I have never opened it before she replied.0 -

Lots of people never change the fluid and probably suffer no ill effects (and I will admit to not being as diligent as I should), but changing the fluid regularly is good practice, not a fad or a con.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -

A friend of mine has a 1950's Ford special that still has tyres that date from at least the 1960's on it.0 -
