Who Knows Free Telephone Number of Scottish Power

The process for fairness for the customer sucks!
unless someone knows how I can log my complaint and actually have it matter.
is that we have to take out court cases against them each time?
I was left waiting for 1.5 hrs and charged £20 by my telephone company for the pleasure.
Each time they answered they said oh yes we're just putting you through to the right department won't be long.
HA!!!!!
This was regarding a bill that I apparently hadn't paid 6 months ago! I'm not even sure they were entitled to ask for the money after that length of time. Anyway they cut it by 50% (a saving of £22) and I paid the rest to save me more grief. HA! Then I get my mobile bill and discover I was charged £20.
UNBELIEVABLE. - ANyway thanks to the freephone 0800 number I'm now back on hold with scottish power to notify them that they owe my phone company £20 as I'm NOT PAYING IT for what I believed was a freephone number in the first place.
i am so sick of feeling ripped off by these companies. Just be straight, you're ripping us off in other ways anyway. But the biggest rip off is of MY TIME trying to sort this out.
Does my head in.

Why should an energy company pay your phone bill?! There are many ways of contacting companies, my favourite is a letter. It costs 62p, but I understand I won't get this back.0
