Day trip package - New York to Niagara Falls

Agree with this, Winter months in North Eastern states and Canada can be brutal. The Falls are a spectacle in Winter but at that time of year many of the attractions are closed i.e. the river attractions, maid of the mist etc.I agree, I would do it that way in later spring/summer or early fall but in January I am not sure I would even want to try it in any way. As great as the falls are weatherwise at that time of year COULD have more problems than would be worth the trip:snow_grin
That is a lot of money to pay for one day. If the OP wants to do it and is prepared to pay for such a short time at the Falls good luck. Personally I would stay in NY and save the money (£1500) and take the family for a long weekend to the Falls once the better weather arrives in March /April.0
