My dad received a letter from Vehicle Control Services ( VCS) in April 16 advising him that he had to pay a fine of £60. My dad is the registered keeper of vehicle but he wasn't the driver at the time( . . It's been passed over to a company called BW legal now and the price of fine is £154.00. Do i phone BW Legal up? just wanted to know what is the best thing to do? Is my dad liable? Thanks.

Need to have a good read of the newbies thread at the top of the first page, plus search BWlegal and you will find a lot f info.

Read it first, don't contact hem as yet and don't tell them who was driving. Yes, your dad can become responsible for the 'fine' but only if vcs follow the pofa 2012 guidelines - which they don't !

    Read first, ask questions later.

Amend your post as well to remove who the driver was, we don't need to know and the PPCs look on these boards

It's a scam ....... VCS is a known scam ... BWLEGAL work for the scammers so in turn are known as scammers.

Read the numerous threads about BWLegal and their losses in court .... Not a good time to be the boss of BWLegal
