Yes if you said 'the reason why I parked as I did' from the old MSE 'template'. No idea why it's still up there as advice.

  • Thanks for the reply, below is the letter ,

You issued me with a parking ticket on 4-9-16 but I believe it was unfairly issued. I decline your invitation to name the driver, which is not required of me as the keeper of the vehicle. I will not be paying your demand for payment for the following reasons,

The car park in question has no clear signage to explain what the relevant parking restrictions are. This means no contract can be formed with the landowner and all tickets are issued illegally. Upon entering the car park, multiple parking stewards directing traffic made no indication of any parking charges.

Further more when purchasing tickets on site, to enter the venue, the vender did not advise of parking charges. Additionally, this is a topic that has been complained about on forums, see below.

Finally, I parked in the same location on the 3-9-16 and received no ticket and again there was no signage indicating parking restrictions.

If you choose to pursue me, please be aware that I will not enter into any correspondence and this will be the only letter you will receive from me until you answer the specific points raised in my letter.

    Yours faithfully,

I've also complained to Silverstone but with no joy. ZZPS have sent another letter warning of involving solicitors. Do you think It's time to cut my loses

No. You have no losses. You are thinking of paying, just because you are getting some daft debt collector letters?!

Not only that, this has scam written all over it:
There were no parking signs on the day and despite parking attendants no warnings that parking was to be paid for
Any right-minded person would proudly attend court to state the above as fact. Any right-thinking person would not be planning to pay a fake PCN where there were no signs and no payment machines.

Come back if you do get a LBCCC or claim form, we will assist you to create a robust defence. Indigo have tried a few court papers recently, I heard from a little bird (if true), but this one takes the biscuit.

Not something for you to shy away from. This is not a fine and you are not risking a CCJ or anything. Stay with us.

  • Happy new year all.

Since my last post I've received a letter (19-12-16) from Wright and Hassan solicitors informing me they have been instructed by ZZPS acting on behalf of Indigp Park services to recover the outstanding dept from me.
Today I received a "formal letter of claim " from WHS again requesting payment and threatening county court proceedings if not received with in 14 days.

Any advice would be gratefully received

    Wright and Hassan
Any relation to Wright Hassall, which you will find mentioned all over the forum? Seriously, the best way to use this forum is not to ask for advice about each letter but to first search for each letter, spelling the name of the sender correctly and just clicking 'search this board'.

You will soon find how we answered this yesterday, the day before that and then before that, last week, etc. You will also learn a lot more from other threads than here on a single thread.

We will assist but we need to you use the forum how it works best, then come back with any queries unanswered already. Same query as this poster:

Same as every day, so start searching & reading other threads.

  • can anyone tell me if i should be treating Wright Hassall's "formal letter of claim" as a LBC / LBCCC /LBA or is this just another attempt to scare a payment.

as you know WH are debt collectors and solisitors , so who sent you the latest letter? , if the contact details are the same as the debt collectors or is the contact to a solisitors department , secondly "pay up within "x" days" pay who?

if you do not pay "xx" within "x" days" , but pay who ? a debt collector (in the chain - gosh could ot be zzps?) or the PPC ?
