My hair is falling out!!!
Comments

It is normal, I had that happening when my son was a baby, I thought I was going bald! I think it stopped when he was about 6 months.0

I lost lots through stress (supposedly, but the specialists very very reluctant to actually blame one thing) and had quite a few bald patches for about 7 months. It started with lots coming out when I washed my hair, but luckily all the patches were under the hair at the back of my head, so only those in the know knew. I was offered various creams etc, but didn't use them. As soon as I left my place of work, it started growing back! I now have a full head of hair, but still seem to lose lots in the shower!
i know it's easy to say, but try not to worry. we all lose about 100 hairs a day which is very noticable if you have dark hair.... you lose less when you're pregnant so you're probably just shedding the excess ones you accumulated when pregnant.
And remember if you really are losing it, it's not the end of the world!!:D0 -
YOu dont have a Mirena coil in, do you? that caused me to lose loads of hair!0

Phew, so maybe in a couple of months it will start to slow down, that would be great, I hope so.
I haven't got the mirena, but I was considering it.....might change my mind now...lol.
You're right, it's not the end of the worldI don't know why I'm suddenly getting worked up about it
maybe because I'm stressing about a few other things too, and I'm making mountains out of molehills - if all else fails, I'll buy a nice wig....or a funky hat.....or just work the Sinead O'Connor circa 1990 look...

Lost loads of hair after all three of my kids were born, in fact both my daughters had the same thing happen, it looked like my hair was receding at the temples... it lasted a good 4 or 5 months but then I had these awful tufts growing all over for ages... its just a natural thing and there is nothing you can do about it apart from having a crop in a few months then it will be all the same length again.... enjoy your baby and try not to stress it doesn't help with the hair loss...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I ended up with a large bald patch in the middle of my mop of hair when I had my first child and lost lots of hair
with each of my other pregnancies too. My hair did grow back though
If it worries you go to the doctor0 -
If you think it all falling out is bad......wait until your baby is about eight months old and you have a raft of hair under your normal length hair all about 1/2" long where it's all grown back at the same time.
I'd just got mine to stop falling out when I found out I was pregnant again."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

My third baby is now eight months and I don't remember my hair being like this with the other two. It's driving me nuts (I have to take my straighteners to the wispy bits) and I can't wait for it to get to a length where it will just blend in fully with my normal hair.
The rest of my hair is nearly down to my waist, so it's got a long way to go"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
