He really has to do something about Osborne's tenant tax before it filters into higher rents and encourages tax evasion.

Ireland tried a similar populist tax gab twice in recent times: once during the boom times of the late nineties, and once in their depression phas! after the crash.

On both occasions, the tenant taxes were quickly reversed

Once again - you are not telling the truth.

Yet another empty promise of a huge affordable house building project...

I'd personally hope he does the following:

Scrap foreign aid budget and divert it to looking after the elderly
Scrap HS2 and improve existing road/rail links
Scrap car tax and add it onto fuel - the more you use it the more you pay
(plus foreign visitors also then pay)
    Simplify the tax system
Scrap stamp duty .... awful tax on progress
Tax prisoners to help pay for elderly (the elderly should have a better life than a prisoner, not as it is now)
Help for people who wish to downsize (free conveyancing??)
Don't do anything extra/new to aid people buying homes - let the market decide

Would you like Hammond to adopt similar austerity policies as the Irish did to address the UK economic problems?

    I suspect not.

As our thoughts turn to Autumn statement, keep in mind our daily spend on foreign aid is £25 millions and daily EU club fee is £28 millions

The foreign aid budget does help look after the elderly and it does it amazingly efficiently.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

and bear in mind we opposed most of their socialistic, protectionists policies, making both them and us richer.

also some might note that most of the world has come a long way in the last 40 years

foreign aid only helps keeps the corrupt and dictatorial in power

    No I would prefer this:

A 21yr old getting paid the same as a 25yr old for doing the same job
Corporations to start paying a decent wage with decent rights to their staff and their taxes

There is already an Equality Act guaranteeing equal pay for equal work. Better to advocate its enforcement.
Poor wages is what happens when people do not join unions and argue their case.
The state pension be means tested as some pensioners are incredibly wealthy and also that ex pats dont travel back the uk just to cash their pensions and get their health sorted out.

Why pick on pensioners? Many people do live abroad travel back for free healthcare. I agree that people who have lived abroad for several years ought to need private insurance to use the NHS while they are resident abroad.

Those who pay UK NI are entitled to a state pension. How would you feel if you paid into an insurance scheme for 40 years to be told you are not entitled to the benefits. I would agree that some other pensioner benefits (eg a bus pass) should be taxed.
A fairer society for all not just the group that mostly vote Tory

PLease try not to be silly. All sorts of people of all ages vote Tory. The way to solve the problem you see is (a) register to vote and (b) vote. Its a bit like winning the lottery, you do have an equal chance of winning, but you need to acually buy a ticket.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.
