Any bets on what Hammond might do?

Rent to buy ? Increase tax brackets ? Change buy to let tax rules ? Do nothing and declare all is well ? Minor tinkering ? Revolutionary changes ? Bore us all to death ? Cold pint of Guinness ? Finally Announce end to useless Sunday trading laws ? Tax breaks for Santa? Reduce price of Amercian Visa's ?

Not a lot of change expected pre Brexit,

Unless there's some serious tax increases required ahead of Article 50 trigger 2017.

Not that I know what's going to happen just my late night opinion.

Black hole in the budget is expected to be forecast as bigger than expected. Limited scope for fiscal loosening. Austerity remains.

Expect a move to once a year budgets in March.

I think that there is a reasonable chance that stamp duty costs will be reconsidered.

Halfing stamp duty for a limited time period ( which then always got renewed) would be quite a wise move.

Decreasing capital gains on properties sold to first time buyers could also be a clever move.

Looks like it's an increase to 50k tax band and affordability tests for new BTL mortgages.

That's already in the pipeline. Not a budget matter.
