Hiya money into the savings before payday at the end of the week. Been buying lots for the whole family as our holiday approaches so need to see what the damage is to the several credit cards and see what happens in June. Still got a few things to buy yet.
Plodding along and will no doubt be paying money into the mortgage next week. Bye for now.

Made an overpayment into the mortgage of £140 yesterday as well as money into the savings. Will see if any small extra to pay in later in the month.

Daughter at her high school visits yesterday and today. So far liked it and happy in class with a few friends. Got a parent meeting this afternoon.

Got father's Day presents in and only one more thing to get today for a birthday. Going today to get euros for our holiday and then will take daughter bank card with more money as it's free to use at ATMs abroad. Hopefully will get any spare money back from her.

Got school disco where helping out on Thursday night - my job to buy the tuck. Hopefully got enough for both discos.

On Saturday me and hubbie are heading out for dinner and theatre show calendar girls - looking forward to it. Bye for now

Yesterday was DD p7 leavers assembly. Very well done as songs were sung and written by the kids.

Son had an award ceremony at school today and hot a certificate for responsible citizen. He did really well but asked if he should really get this.

Tomorrow the p7 are going their school treat to a trampoline place nearby at night so hubbie is leaving work early to get from after-school and take daughter and friend to the place. I'm sure they will enjoy and they have to wear their leavers t-shirts.

Started to put in the order for the school polo shirts, sweaters and got daughter a blazer for high school. I just hope she wears it for the first year. Time will tell.

We checked out our suitcases for the holiday and found one totally broken to bits so I bought a new one. Hopefully got everything in now and in the spare room so can start putting into cases a week on Saturday.

Well done to your children for all their achievements, you must be very proud parents.

Hope you all have a lovely holiday.

    Take care.
  • Hiya back from our holiday in Spain and the kids loved it especially the water flumes etc. Son loved the mini club and daughter enjoyed the water, reading her book on the lounger and hot her hair braided.
We returned on Monday there just as the weather was changing to storms etc when we were in the airport. Returned back to get sad news that hubbie gran died on the Saturday there. Tuesday went to his parent house to go over details of the funeral which is next Monday and we have to wear bright clothes.
Also I returned home after food shopping to find out my mum had phoned to advise my uncle had died suddenly that day - funeral is a week on Saturday so just managed to sort out the babysitting of the kids as hubbie parents are not up to it at the moment.
  • Went to first appointment to orthondonist with daughter so she had to decide if she wishes to go ahead a get braces in to fix the problem.

Then I went to make an overpayment of the mortgage today of £100 as well as some money into the savings.
