Life mobile is absorbed into Plusnet
Options
By email today:
Here at LIFE Mobile, we've decided to take an exciting step (quite a big one actually) and naturally, couldn't wait to share our news with you.
On 29th November we're joining forces with Plusnet, the award-winning phone and broadband company, to launch Plusnet Mobile.
Like us, Plusnet have a great reputation for looking after their customers. That's why you don't need to do anything – your mobile service, pricing and plan will stay exactly the same.
Most importantly, the service you receive and the price you pay won't change. We're still proud to be using EE, the network that covers 99% of the UK population, so there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
Soon you'll notice your network carrier change to 'plusnet', as well as emails from Plusnet in your inbox. Plus you'll have access to more great value products and special offers - we'll tell you more about these over the coming weeks.
If you've got any burning questions on the switch, check out our FAQs.
Here at LIFE Mobile we're excited about our future together. We hope you will be too.
The LIFE Mobile Team
As part of the launch of Plusnet Mobile, your contract will be transferred to Plusnet plc on 29th November.
As Plusnet will be responsible for providing your service from this date, your personal data will be transferred to Plusnet. But they'll still keep it safe and in accordance with all relevant laws.
We've also worked with Plusnet to create new terms and conditions that are simpler and easier to understand. These will take effect on 1st January.
In the meantime, if you’ve got any questions on these terms and conditions, the FAQs should have the answers you seek

Ouch.
Plusnet will have a bit of a job sorting out their price list to comply with Ofcom and ASA rules.
The list does not explain which prefixes comprise "landlines" (01, 02, 03) and "mobiles" (071-075, 077-079).
There's currently no indication of which prefixes comprise CI and IoM, nor the pricing that applies to those prefixes.
Ofcom requires call charges for 070 numbers and the Access Charge for calls to 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers to be shown in the headline rates. They are missing.
Despite Ofcom regulations scrapping high termination rates on UK mobile numbers starting 071-075 and 077-079, they still have a long list of prefixes that are non-inclusive and which they classify as "call-forwarding" services. Ofcom eliminated this category 18 months ago.
Their current "premium calls" list claims that calls to 03 and 05 numbers are free. I think not.
It also claims a "19p per minute Access Charge" for non-emergency numbers. In reality 101 is 15p per call and 105, 111, 112, 116 are free.
When sending a text message to a mobile shortcode, the cost of "one standard rate message" is missing.
There are a host of other issues, and it all looks rather sketchy.0 -
Is there just 1 4g plan0

BT have started then playing about with there new networks already
so the custom service will go down the pan.
BT own Plusnet, Life mobile and as most people already know they also own EE now.
Didn't think they would start upsetting things already to be honest i would of thought they would at least leave it a couple of year before making changes.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
not great as news, as I've seen them to be half decent MVNOs...
it'll be absorbed and one more will be gone...0 -
Is there just 1 4g plan
No, just one with a special offer...
If you go to https://www.plusnetmobile.com/ and click on "Check out our other great SIM deals", you'll see the rest.0 -

Wow, just got this myself, and only been with LIFE for two months now.
Quite surprised really. Not necessarily a fan of Plusnet, and my OH dumped their broadband recently.
Fortunately I'm on a rolling contract so if it goes pear-shaped at all, I'll be out faster than they can dial 000.The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -

Neither iD would be recommended or cash-back hassle are worth much, in absolute contrary, to MoneyMate0
