    MFW activity this weekend:

    - My head cold is starting to go :j
    - NSD achieved yesterday, but will need to get petrol today as I'm almost running on fumes.
    - Found £3 in a jacket I haven't used since last month, that was dropped into the mortgage piggy.
    - Sticking to the meal plan, so there have been no additional spends on the food front.

    Still need to;
    -submit work expenses
    - continue getting jobs done around the house ready for the week ahead

    First, and more importantly - I need tea!

  • I started today catching up on some MF diaries - the amounts of OP's being made on this board is truly inspirational :T

    The bank account has been reconciled and I have identified a handful of stupid spends that should have been avoided, thankfully they were smaller spends, but even still, this could have gone towards an OP instead.

    I moved some bits around and have tweaked the budget as I am not fully convinced that the new design is working in the way I would like.
    On the plus side, I have managed to send another £65.50 to the OP pot :j That includes the £14 claimed from quidco.

    The £3 voucher from swagbucks has been received and added to the account for future use.

  • MFW Activity today

    - Gas and Electric Meter Readings submitted
    - Current account tided and £2.79 sent over to Mortgage to bring the account to a nice round number.
    - Onepoll checked and no surveys yet today:(
    - Checked this months Asda receipts on their price guarantee site - total of £3.43 in price match coupons given towards next shop :money:

    Nothing major happening in the budget at the minute, but each small step is a step in the right direction :)

  • Books balanced so that our accounts are showing 0 as we head towards payday. The only account that is carrying a balance is the credit card, but that will be cleared come payday (OH spread my birthday costs over 2 months).

    £285 OP'd to mortgage today :)

    I am going to try to round this up to £300 by making savings in the grocery budget this month.

    Home and Car Insurances (both Cars) due in March/start of April, so I need to shop around to get the best deals I can on these (without compromising on level of cover).

    I have some children's clothing sorted and ready to list on ebay once the nicer weather arrives (all spring/summer clothing) and have picked up an extra day at work next week :money:

    Will be into the £77,000's this week, once regular mortgage payment goes out :D

    Onwards and downwards!

    This MFW thingy is addictive!

    I have scrutinized our accounts and have shaved off another £200ish, which has now been sent to the mortgage as an OP. This brings my total March OP to £535.73 :j

    I still want to work towards making some more OP's this month - they will be much smaller - this means that I need to get creative, and pronto! OT and Ebay listings need to be generated in the coming weeks.

    I am really happy that spring is here!

    MFW Activity this weekend;

    - Checked freezer and cupboards and we have enough staple products (pasta/rice etc), so I have rounded my grocery budget down by £17. This £17 has been to to mortgage as an OP.

    - Ordered my mum some mothers day flowers and came in £15 under budget. This £15 has been sent to mortgage as an OP.

    - Sent the 0.87p Interest from my savings account to the mortgage as an OP.

    - Put three weeks worth of receipts through the Asda Price Gurantee and got £1.12 voucher towards next shop (it all adds up). :money:

    - Submitted a claim for £0.50p cashback on a loaf of bread via Quidco Click Snap.

    - I didn't spend any of my £10 'fritter' money this week, so have sent that to mortgage as an OP too.

    This afternoon will be spent looking for ebayable items that can be listed over the next 3 weeks.
