yes , give them copies of ALL paperwork, which I did mention earlier (attach them all to your emailed reply)

and you cannot upload a pic , but you can host it on tinypic or photobucket and then provide a dead link to it using hxxp instead of http in the URL when you reply (edit the link before submission)

    and redact any personal info
  • Thank you , I'll attach to my email reply . I don't think I need to upload a pic to this thread but will keep you updated.

the first thing is do what I said and email AOS at britishparking and complain , with copies of the NTK from legion, their refusal to issue a popla code , a timeline of events (day it happened , first NTK in the post , date of your appeal to legion , date of the refusal etc)

complain that no popla code was issued with their refusal as you appealed the NTK within the 28 days timeframe (I hope you did)

I have requoted what you were told earlier in the thread by me , with the relevant parts highlighted , for clarity (I could not have explained it better if I had tried , lol)
  • Hi Redx , I have done everything as per your earlier post. The only thing I failed to do was attach the letter which I will do now.

    Thank you for your help
  • Apologies all - I have been meaning to come and update this thread but "life" seems to take over

There isn't much to update other than I had a reply back from AOS at british parking on the 28th Nov that the complaint had been logged and they would now contact Legion Group - the email said to expect a reply in 2 - 3 weeks

3 weeks will be on Monday 19th - do they generally reply back in the time stated, and is it worth chasing up again ?
Also what happens if they dont reply ?

I have had another threatning letter from the debt collection agency (although I have ignored it and it didnt upset me this time !!)
  • Hurray

    Result !!! ...

I've had a reply back from BPA stating that they .."have contacted the opearator (Legion) and the operator has confirmed that your charge has been cancelled" ....

Many many many thanks to all that have advised and kept me sane through this horrible experience.

The only thing that is still niggling me is the bullish behaviour of the hospital parking manager - I know I should challenge her, but I dont think I will - I just want the whole matter to end and I dont want to ruffle any feathers at work, sorry for being a whimp !!

    Again - thank you MSE'ers
