    Hi,

I'm located in Singapore, facing the same issue. i received the item and i didn't key in my credit card or pay pal information at all. I'm not gonna return them nor pay for the item that I didnt order.

I'm gonna wait and see what action they will be taking against the " consumer ".

Hi may I know the update on your situation now? I am from Singapore too and I'm facing the same problem.
  • Hello from singapore Well after one month they threaten to send to the lawyer side but problem is that my address is totally wrong so nothing I can do and i don think they will go that far because we are from overseas. They can send you a legit looking lawyer letter to you and can always report this to the police branding them as internet scam
  • I am having the same problem with them - they have asked me to sign the same form - I signed it but crossed out the statement where it says I ordered from them. They have said they cannot accept it as it is a legal document and cannot be amended. I have e-mailed them back quoting extracts from our Consumer Rights Act regarding non delivery of goods and unsolicited goods, no doubt they will come back with some dry answer saying I still owe them money.

My gut instinct is to just ignore their threats, but part of me is frightened that it affects my credit rating if they do take it further. I don't think they've got a leg to stand on a) I didn't order anything from them, - although they say I did and b) I haven't received anything from them. I have notified them of this. albeit not by signing their silly form - surely no court in the land would award in favour of this company. I think its Facebook that should be accountable for this as it was on their site that I saw the advert in the first place.

#1 You can't get a CCJ without there first being a small claim being made by them. You'd know if this happened.

#2 Sign up for free credit checks (e.g. Noddle) ... this should let you know if any "markers" have been placed on your file by them. If they have done so then you can get these corrected.

If you are based in the UK then just ignore them. They know as well as you that they don't have a legal leg to stand on. They won't waste their time trying to damage your credit rating and they wouldn't succeed even if they tried. The only thing that works for them is people giving in to their empty threats. (If just a very small proportion of those mailed give in to the threats then it will make them money.)

Just completely ignore their threats. Responding indicates to them you are concerned and therefore more likely than most to give in to further threats.

I've received a penalty for late payment, it cost $10 I think it is in usd.
    1) I didnt response nor make any attempt to contact/email quicklux
    2) I mark theire email as junk
    3) to add on, the letter also indicate a threat for legal action done against me. I simply shred the paper away.
    4) act blur

If anyone has received official court letter, do update here.
  • Hi all I have experienced the same issue as you have all posted about and finally got my invoice closed after many emails backwards and forwards. I was sent 2 mascaras and an invoice for £54 after only clicking on their Facebook page to find a price. I emailed them and made them aware of their mistake that I did not want or request the items and gave them the option of sending a prepaid envelope for their return. I was told that I either could pay to return them (to Denmark from England?!) or return to sender at my own risk. I pointed out that I wasn't prepared to pay for the return of an item I did not request and if I returned to sender it was at their own risk and there would be no payment for the items either. This went back and forth them keep telling me it was at my own risk and me keep telling them it wasn't anyway I recorded myself and the whole process of me returning them from putting the mascaras in the package sealing it and writing return to sender and even posing it in post box incase I had anymore letters from them demanding payment which I did. The next letter wanted and extra £10 late fees! So I wrote them a nasty email saying I had researched the company and knew it was a scam and that there would be no payment and any more hassle and I would seek legal advice for a counter claim for the stress and that I was also reporting them to trading standards and attached my proof of postage (the video recording) and said I do not want to hear from them again and any further letters would also be returned to sender so to save themselves the cost. IT WORKED! I was emailed back telling me the invoice was closed and there was no payment due. I know this has been a bit long winded but I think that explaining the full process might help someone in a similar situation. Don't pay them anything they are trying to scare people into payment keep arguing and they will eventually give up and go away.
  • I also received a product I didn't order, followed by letters stating that if I didn't pay they would start a debt collection case against me. Yesterday I filled in an online dispute resolution form with the European Commission. I received an email last night from Luxstyle saying they were going to close the case and I could keep the product ( That I didn't order!!!!) Hope this helps😊
  • Hi Ellis my mum has been having the same problem as yourself and after reading your post I just done an online dispute from the European Commission so I hope it all goes to plan and works out for my mum the same way as it did for you :) x
