Terrible credit - need some help...

Hi folks,
Due to some bad decisions in my past by living outwith my means I was up to my eyeballs in debt through payday loans, credit cards etc. I completed a trust deed a few months ago which means I am now debt free. Ill never make the same mistake again but it would be nice to have access to credit if it was needed. I use noddle and everything on my credit file is correct, discharge noted etc. I am keen to start rebuilding my credit but I can get absolutely zero credit, no bad credit cards, not even a 30 day sim contract. Does anyone have any advice on moving forward? It would be much appreciated

Give it a few months and then try a sub prime application again.0

I assume by access to credit if it's ever needed, you mean for an emergency. If so, why not start building up an emergency fund while you wait to apply for new credit. It will certainly help with your desire to never repeat getting into debt.

Give it a couple of months and during this period you can build up some savings.0

You will be given a second chance. It will just take time. Wait until your 'discharge' is no longer noted.0
