As my egg-money is allowed, I'm pleased to report £3, plus a small handful of coppers from my purse. :D

I actually have some cash in there ATM and need to buy tea and sugar for the builders, so might get some shrapnel for potting this morning!

I got thrown out of brownies....I swore at Brown Owl...
  • no worries saver-upper i am chuckling away now. we always top my tin up on a Monday guess he couldn't wait any longer. my purse was quite heavy with £ coins. luckily I have an emergency £10 locked away so we will survive till payday.

I forgot to mention that I walked into the lounge on Saturday and he was asking his Godmother for money ( well he was stood shaking the pot at her as he is yet to be able to say much) - goodness knows how much she was giving him to go in! she said it was just all her silver - I am guessing I owe him some money now

Afternoon all Savers!! :D I hope you're all having a good Friday and rearing to go for the weekend!!! To all those who have colds, viruses or are simply feeling low at the moment.....here are some fuzzy {{{{hugs}}}} and very best wishes for you to get well/feel better soon! :grinheart

Ahhhh, bless your little treasure, Hicksy, there's no doubting the fact that he's willing you to save and save hard!! :A

Good work muppets, you've started so well!

A lovely bit to put in 32b3...though unsure about the string. :rotfl: I guessed you'd be happy with today being almost within touching distance of the weekend 32b3! :j

November is always an iffy month for saving, Saver-upper, not worth worrying about though as we can all pick up the pace from about February on. I haven't done any shopping yet either so you're not alone. At least your earnings will have made a difference to your hungry pot! ;)

That's an amazing stash you're creating, hummingbird, and you'll need to give it regular shakings to enable you to cram more in!! :dance:I hope you had a really good break at your Mum's.

Well done again parksandrec, it's really good to see folk saving regularly. ANOTHER £2 ready for your pot, TheDapster??! You'll have you know who soooo jealous!!!!! Go for it TD!!!!! :D

:rotfl: at the suggestion it's services rendered from DH. Surely I'm worth more than a couple of quid?! ;) :rotfl: :rotfl:
Speaking of which, there was another £1.10 left by DH....

Did I REALLY say that Vicky??!!!! Well, I guess it was just my weird thinking....or his generosity....but not wishing to be too obvious. He IS a fellah! Simple random thoughts of mine you understand! ;)

Ah, but then....maybe he's thinking of it as being a bit like SPC....putting up all the change he has left and hoping for better next time.....from him cash wise I mean NOT YOU!!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl: That's amazing potting Dragon Lily, very well done!! :D

Cor you've done well Dragon Lily, so maybe you too are trying to compete with jakes-mum and TheDapster for as many £2 coins as you can get! Excellent savings - but........there will be NONE left for the rest of us!!!!! :(

It's a real joy to read your posts since you've added your egg money, Dizzy Imp, I couldn't be happier for you and you'll now be able to look ahead to a far better declaration Total in November - even the chickens will be clapping!!! Pook pook pook pook pooook :T There aren't any words to your last line, apart from I bet Brown Owl thought it quite a hoot...behind your back anyway

A nice crispy £10er placed proudly in the pot after shopping, happy with that for the week given it's November.

Have a lovely evening and Friday, Potters. Feed those pots well! :D

    Good evening everyone :hello:

Popped to the pub with colleagues after work today and found 70p on the floor underneath our table. Duly potted! THEN when I was at home, I found another £1 which must have fallen out of a pocket (no doubt DH's!). So, £1.70 potted without even thinking about it. :D

And £2 of coins potted because I didn't have a second diet coke in the pub. :j :j

  • Finally!! 2 x £2s have gone into the pot tonight to join the odd one left over from SPC9 - it was getting a bit lonely in there.

Good news - my friend isn't having her breast removed. Although there is a lump in there, the surgeon doesn't want to go hacking away at what is otherwise a healthy body. They'll deal with it if and when the time comes. Also, my husband's blood sugar readings have dropped 26 points, so his diabetes nurse is really pleased with him and over the moon that we've got the dog as she has made a decent contribution to his improvement! Unfortunately for me, my thyroid readings are largely unchanged, and the dog hasn't contributed to any improvement in me whatsoever - so I'm still just fat :rotfl:

We're going to the Dogs tomorrow; not expecting massive winnings, but hoping to come home with more loose change than I went with!!
