A very Happy Birthday to you little_sweetie!I’d totally forgotten it as Terry had to have a skin cancer lump removed from his face; nothing too nasty thank goodness and at least it’s done now!
There’s nothing “miserable” about any sum of money saved, let’s face it, you might not have saved anything so it’s a lot better than that!!!! :j:T:j Be happy! Thank you so much for lovely words.Indigowarrior wrote:I opened my pot today and had a grand total of £127.21.

Wll done Indigowarrior and Dragon Lily! :T Lots of lovely totals coming in! how exciting
DH is desperate to open ours but I wont let him, we will wait till the morning (though i think I might be getting an early wake up call :rotfl:)
Sue! I couldn't possibly leave those poor £2 coins out in the cold until the new pot  think how unloved they would feel! But no fear, I have not got anymore today so it was not an issue anyway
I did however manage to get another lovely £20 note which has gone into the secret note pot that I *may* have forgotten to tell DH aboutThere isn't loads on there as I only started it 4 odd weeks ago but it will still be a nice bonus to our total

I’m declaring today as I’m sure I’ll forget tomorrow and I won’t be adding any more before then anyway. So here is number 577 declaring for the first time!!
I have £6.08 in my copper jar and a whopping £54.50 in my spare change tin.
Declaring a total of £60.58.
Considering I was more than happy if I hit £50 for the short time I’ve been here (plus I’m living on my own on a measly student loan) I’m absolutely over the moon!
I’m donating the coppers to charity (it’s not in good enough denominations to bank, it will make me feel like I’ve done something worthwhile and I want a fresh start for SPC11).
The £54.50 is going straight to Christmas presents. I’m hoping to buy the boyfriend a Dutch dash so that might even cover half.
I LOVE THIS GROUP! Thank you all for the support and motivation. I’m aiming for the hundreds next timeLBM: October 2016: £20,130 / Current: May 2019: £12,576 37.53%DFD: [STRIKE]February 2024[/STRIKE] April 2022?0 -
