Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to go to Norfolk in the April half term next year (Hopefully on a SUN950 holiday but not relying on this)
Can anyone suggest anywhere to stay?
Thanks

We like Heacham Beach which is one of the Sun holiday parks. We've only been a couple of times, but DD goes for 3 or 4 times a year with her young family. It's a nice well kept park with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.0

Avoid Great Yarmouth0

I'd 2ND Heacham, nut also have a look at Haven Horton which is halfway between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft0

If you like walking then Blakeney, Wells next the Sea or Cromer are all lovely. Plenty of nature reserves and at that time of year it's great for bird watchers with 2 or 3 RSPB sites on that coastline.0

Decide on what you would like to do and take it from there. If you post your interests people will be able to help you more.
As has been said avoid Gt Yarmouth and I'd say inland Thetford.0 -
Whats so great about Heachem? theres not much to do there.
Are you looking for beaches or inland OP?
Great Yarmouth town/housing is not a nice place but the tourist area area along the sea front isn't so bad, and the beach is nice. It depends what kind of holiday you are looking for.0 -

Sorry I've been MIA - Just logged back in
2 kiddies so I plan my holidays around them - Beaches, sightseeing (Animal parks, aquariums etc)
Somewhere that has a decent enough play park because they spend hours on them (Even though they have slides etc at home, never understood that!)
Somewhere with kids entertainment at night (not bothered about a kids club in day)
In land or coastal doesn't really matter - I have a car so we can drive
Walking - Not an avid fan but we like going for strolls (if that's the right term?!) and exploring
Whats wrong with Great Yarmouth? I've never been so not sure what its like
EDIT: I want to take the kids to the Sandringham Estate... little one is obsessed with the queen at the moment!0 -

I somewhat agree with this, but I have memories of sitting on the beach in Yarmouth with the kids to hear every other person on the beach effing and blinding.
It's in dire need of rejuvenation and has a visible drug problem . You can't pretend otherwise.
Norfolk has some beautiful places.0
