Hi
Hoping someone can help me ..... I have a parking fine that has come through the door regarding a UKPC ticket issued to my vehicle in a retail park parked in a disabled bay.....I a man the registered keeper but was not driving at the time of the ticket being issued. I want to appeal the ticket but don't know how to go about getting the best result. The latest letter to come through was suggesting court action as I have have not responded to them....I think I would need to move quickly to save such action.
Fingers crossed someone can help

Do not say who was driving!
Do not do it. Nobody should ever ask you that because you will be giving away a very valuable appeal point.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Please supply the date of the alleged event, whether you got a windscreen ticket, and the date of the notice to keeper.
If you have received debt collectors letters, they can be ignored.
It is not a fine. The best place to start is the Sticky thread for NEWBIES, but we need you to tell us what stage you are at and who, if anyone, is threatening court action.I married my cousin. please take note, don't say who was driving thats a very important pointTis better to be thought a fool and remain silent
than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt0 -

Hi
Thanks so much for replying
The date of the ticket is 2/07/2016 and I was not driving the car at the time I'm not quite sure if the person driving has a valid disabled blue badge but it was not placed in the windscreen and the ticket is pictured on the windscreen but I don't have it.
The ticket states "parked in a disabled persons space without clearly displaying a disabled persons badge" retail park .
The amount is for £100.000 -
To confirm the last letter I received was from UKPC threatening court action which was a a week or so ago but I can't seem to find that letter....very annoying. The first letter received was 23/08/20160

If the person is not in any way disabled, and were using the bay for laziness, why should you defend this? I'd consider naming them to UKPC (seriously) and let the driver defend. You can do this only BEFORE any court papers.
But if the person is frail or has a long term medical condition affecting their daily life and mobility, then they had reason to use that bay.
Which is it, taking the mickey in a disabled bay, or not?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
