Sorry to hear your last feathery lady has departed, but I'm sure it's comforting to know they had such a happy life beforehand.

    Good to see you back!

Aw thanks guys. Sorry been awol again.

I think I'll start again at the beginning.

I've been working two jobs since I started full time with the garden, its been a bit crazy but I did the final final notice thing this week, lots of people had left and I felt obliged to stay on well after I didn't want to. Finally been offered a new contract last week in the post (having said that I was flattered I have firmly given final notice).

First time in a long time I've turned down work and it feels very very odd. But, life is a bit more stable, in some ways and a little less stable in others.

All humans and mutts are healthy and well both in this country and down under in NZ.

Hello and hope you're all well. I may start a new diary t get focus again but might keep up with this one, lost it somehow.

I vow to do the following small things today to sort out finances/life.

    Check banks and cc's
Have a wee bit dinner with DD in the city (I'm on the train having some 'me time')
Tidy a bit later when home.
Go home via soooopermarket and see if there are any bargains.
    Listen to some audio book.
Hang up some washing and fold up dry stuff from the garden.
Get to bed at a reasonable time.

    Well its a start.

I've missed you all, looking forward to life becoming a bit less work orientated.

On the positive the bank is really healthy as I'm not spending much at all.

Checked one CC 213 to pay on that, largely shopping and petrol and some bits will pay off at end of month as per usual.

Can't get into my other bank/cc as new laptop (thank you DH for the lovely b'day pressie) this one doesn't any log ins on it as I've been woefully neglecting all online life. Bad Pippi.

I'm also going to be 50 next birthday so I want to make a list of 50 fun things to do for that :) so probably need a bit of budget for that one.

One from the garden, not mine :rotfl:

Hey up cheery chaps - lovely to hear from you all too and thank you.

Cheery, you do know me so well, but as DD said to me tonight as we chinked our free waters, its about time. I'll miss being womble in chief though, but not the late night report writing. I hope you're well lassie I see life is progressing for you guys too!! Fingers crossed.

RT - shockingly bad at communication I know, I'm sorry petal virtual kitchen is sadly neglected must pop a cloot aboot and tidy up a bit. And, in real life the cleaner comes tomorrow so must pick up my dirty kit from the floors when home! How's the bbqing going?

Greying me dear I hope DP and Baby Greying are well and splendid :) we had bento boxes this evening at a wee Japanese (pumpkin dumplings) and enough for two lunches tomorrow - did make me think of your buddha bowls.

ETA Hello Beanie - congrats to DS :D

I've started a list this very evening with DD.

    1 - Mocktails somewhere fabulous
2 - BBQ mussels on the beach
    3 - Have a pedicure
4 - Miso making - learn to make my own miso
5 - Make a sushi set or find one I like
6 - Go to Iceland (like in real life not just for frozen food, or both)
    7 - Henna tattoo
    8 - Charity shop bonanza
9 - Stay in St Andrews for a night
    10 - Grow groundnuts
    11 - Visit a garden show
    12 - NHM
13 - Walk the local coastal path 112 miles
    14 - Design a garden for myself
    15 - Make a hat
    16 - Give blood
    17 - Go to a yoga retreat or just a class :)

    So far so good.

:) trains busy but its nice to do something different rather than face plant into the sofa exhausted!

    xoxo
