How are things going with everyone? It almost feels like spring today, I hung the washing outside and by the end of the day it was almost dry!
I've been amusing myself by painting the metal pole supporting the bird feeders with cooking oil so I can watch the local squirrels sliding off and looking bemused : )0 -

I believe MrRG encountered snow on his drive to work this morning so there certainly IS snow up there. Meanwhile I think Mrs Stripes may be buried under an avalanche of SnowDROPS! :rotfl::rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

indeed lovlies I had a sneaky day off on Friday and I disconnected myself with the universe and reconnected myself with my garden.
Hope you're all well. Work is insane but that means my April holidays are already TOIL - yippee.
Waves to all hit the reduced section last night and got a couple chickens for £1.39 each anyone near a co-op might want to check them out there were hundreds (or at least a couple shelves full wonder if there was an ordering problem.
Got some reduced fruit/veg too.
Aside that mainly no spendy days as working a lot. And, did a big online shop.
Builder came from work to look at roof original quote from man who didn't come was 300. The man was up a ladder for half hour plugged leaks and charge me £25.
Slight difference there aside actually turning up.
Off to catch up. Limited snow here.
But, yesterday taking a group of Glasweigans round, I heard that they know all about snowdrops. Snowdrop-ers are teh fiends that steal your clean washing from the greens at the backies.

No snow here at all. Crazy as a few miles inland there was ample.
Keep warm :AEssexHebridean wrote: »I believe MrRG encountered snow on his drive to work this morning so there certainly IS snow up there. Meanwhile I think Mrs Stripes may be buried under an avalanche of SnowDROPS! :rotfl::rotfl:

Hooray to bargain chooks!!! (of the eating variety)
...our meal plan for the week involves the following - not sure in what order yet...- poached eggs & flat bread with whatever protein is lurking in the fridge
- noodles & pork & pak choi
- sticky maple chicken with spring greens (collards)
- frozen fish & chips
- noodles in miso broth with shrooms, bean sprouts & an egg on top
- leek risotto with protein (chicken? or pork mince?)
...trying to alternate a light use it up meal with a proper meal while continuing what seems to be a never ending from the stores odyssey...4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)17 YEARS 4 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS0
