    Hooray to free wood!:j

Our usual bottom of the fridge omelette turned into a bottom of the freezer omelette - freezer yielded a chunk of blue cheese, some chopped yellow & green peppers and a mystery chopped green (I suspect choi sum stems). The veg was tossed in the pan with some pancetta and then bound together with a few eggs & sprinkle with cheese. - YUM & three less things in our freezer!

We scored a free frozen steak pie today - groceries delivered with an extra item - I ordered cheap frozen cod cakes, but they arrived with a meat pie as well - that's a free dinner I suppose!

Trog - mines is full of plums and rasps.

:) potential more free wood at work again this week - woop. Goodluck finding a tame builder.

RT - just mental with work, hibernation sounds good though as do those omlettes - I've been designing, lets just say I garden designer I am not, nor am I very natural at it either.

Auld mutts and new tricks and all that, I'm better at digging. :D

Just doing the whole fridge/freezer rock and roll thing

    Making squash roast for soup.

Have boxed up some teas (steak and ale) and working on a meal plan for the week.

Waves to all must do some spends/move some cash around. I've also a couple invoices to pay.

Need a new/old kitchen table.......might do some research

Washing machine is whirring and free wood stove is on. Must top logs ujp again, although its been so warm, we've hardly needed it on.

    Good for drying washing tho.

    Waves.

:hello: Glad/shame you're not hibernating :D Wish I was :D :j :j Yay to free wood though, and learning new skills and other cheery such things. Pretty warm down here at the minute too - I've had to turn the heating OFF cos I was too hot while painting the skirting boards! Can highly recommend DIY as a keeping-warm tactic :D

    Great stuff Beanie :)

Cheery hope the DIY is going well.

The time right now is just disappearing, not a fan of these short days.

Yesterday netted a whole bit of cooking from stores.

Meal plan now looks like this

Brekkie - porridge, what else :)
Lunches HM soups in feezer x 15 so we're OK

    Teas

    Sat - spag bog, salad
Sun - likely caulicheese for me himself is studying at work til late
    Mon - fish
Tues - chilli with upcycled spag bog
    Wed - meatballs
    Thur - More fish
Fri - likely takeaway with MIL

Busy week ahead learning new skills :) garden here needs some work too.

Must get the old oven to charity or on a free website its huge and cluttering the kitchen.

Anyone need an oven tower - :P
