UU
Pure Intimate Feminine Complete Cleansing Wipes (30 pack) - WBA.They did the job - just as good as Femfresh ones but cheaper.
So? Sinful Eau de Toilette 30ml - WMBA. This had a lovely scent though it wasn't my favourite. It lasted 2-3 hours before topping up. I kept this in my work bag and used up the last of it in 3 months. This was a good idea as I was forced to use the same scent so I used it up a lot quicker. Have replaced this with another perfume. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
Had a little uu just now:
Lush rose lollipop lip balm sample- WNBA as full size (although i do have it already) i dont like how if you accidentally taste this its horribly bitter. Really not keen on the taste/smell of this and im not convinced it did a lot for my lips beside making them flake. I think i will stick to the key lime pie one.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Can I join please? Not sure how many products I have in my stash and might take me a while to count...
In the last couple of days I've UU:
1. No.7 Polish and Perfect Body Scrub - Bought this years ago with a £5 off voucher. Liked how gritty it was but not sure it's entirely suitable for my sensitive skin. WMBA
2. Molton Brown Bath Gel Miniture Picked this up in a hotel room a couple of years ago and have been saving it but used up in the bath yesterday. The empty bottle is already in the recycling bin and I can't remember the name of it. The liquid was purple. I love MB stuff but it's totally out of my price range at the mo
3. Unknown hair / shower gel Thought this was another Molton Brown miniature as it was in one of the MB hair wash bottles but when I went to put it in my hair, it felt very odd and smelt funny. Think it may have been some baby bath stuff that I'd decanted and forgotten about :rotfl: Safe to say I double washed my hair this morning!
4. Unknown conditioner sample Not sure what this was as the label had come off but it was v nice anyway.
Could really do with a facial exfoliator at the mo but remembered my TreSonics facial brush in the back of my cupboard and then dug out a facial wash that I want to try and use up.
Forgot to add my IN's:
1. Nails Inc Polish in Lexington Square (free with Glamour mag)
2. This Works Sleep Spray (free with Marie Claire mag)0 -

Welcome!
That sleep spray sounds lush! Also echo your feelings on MB wish I could afford it, I love the more masculine scents they do0 -
Have you checked the draught proofing, we have our heating set to 16 degrees and it is cosy. We would be melting at 22.
Dolly, how do I do that? I rent the house and found out not long after I moved in from a neighbour that the previous tenants moved out because of the damp. Not sure though whether it was sorted out in the time them leaving and me moving in although I do know new carpets were put down.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Good news - I got £5 of Beauty Points, a l'Occ Trio of Handcreams (disc from £22 to £11) and a L'Occ Verbena Discovery Collection (disc from £20 to £10) for £2.09 in cash and the rest in Debenham vouchers.
Bad news. I have a load more stuff I don't really need but a bargain price just because the carboard packaging was battered. The contents are fine and I am down to my last L'Occ handcream, even if I have some other really nice Rituals which was waiting its turn and will now drop down the queue.0 -

Creighton's Squeeky Clean Super Strong Nail and Cutie Cream 100ml - WNBA as I prefer other brands. This was nice enough, but not as good as others I have tried. It also takes longer to absorb than I wanted. It did last a long time though and was good value for money.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Anti-Frizz Primer 3ml sample - I think I would need to try this out a bit more to figure out how effective it is. It was nice and a little goes a long way.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
I would have had my usual Sunday evening bath on Sunday evening which would have used up the Avon white lily bubble bath on my UU list but just remembered I have my tattoo removal apt tomorrow and I'm not allowed to submerge it in water for a few days after
Slightly off topic but I've had my eye on the new iPhone 7 ever since it came out so I might see if I can get it on a contract tomorrow and then sell my old phone to give me a bit of extra cash. Not very MSE I know but I don't like going into the city and coming out with nothing. :rotfl:0 -

generally- most of the time repairs are a lick of paint and naught else. you will be able to smell damp, is there any mould, is there a layer of water that does not seem to evaporate?
some times the extentions have poor damp course on the floor or a rubbish level of insulation.
a lot of the time a dehumidifier will remove damp feeling- excess water and makes it easier to heat the rooms. what it will cost you on electricity will be saved of the heating. a dehumidifier is a great investment.
you can check for draughts by using either a candle and seeing where it flickers or feeling for the cold air. i use loads of warm (interlined) curtins and door snake insulators. check around the doors, windows (nightmare if single glazed) and vents.
i once lived in a flat that was so cold i had to layer on the clothes when i came home from work. It was a beautiful historical flat but from now on i only choose highly insulated houses. When i eventually get to buy a house, I will retro fit every bit of insulation and get it to scandivan passive house standard
so to cosmetics, it has been a rubbish october- one innow that and now that i think of it, one soap out.
i need to re-double my efforts as i have not being paying attention to my face and it is getting a little red and blotchy. at least i can get a gig for christmas as ruldodof.
i want to finish one cleanser and more importantly throw away any items that just have no chance of being finished.0 -
Echo the sleep spray, sounds good, think ill be picking up this months marie claire!
I had a uu this evening, only a small one mind. The last shower gel sample for now though so can move onto full sized stuff again.
Lush olive branch shower gel sample- WBA id like to get full size of this. Not the best lather and watery but i do like the smell in the shower and the subtle scent left on the skin.
