My finish 5 by Christmas list:

    1. Korres Rose Lipbalm - it has to be done by Christmas surely.
    2. Witch Concealer stick
    3. Benetint - this is a half used mini bottle
    4. Urban Decay Eyeliner - Corrupt, this is a double ended one so about half size.
    5. Estee Lauder Invisible Foundation

    all are still going strong.

Mrs Moneypenny, thank you for starting up the new thread for November. I will update my scores and lists and pop back with my PP list later.

Last night I went through my bag of mini sized polishes, I will give some away, but decided to use some up. I applied a Nails Inc one and after some digging in my stuff deduced it was called Roseberry Avenue, I absolutely love the colour, but a) it has chopped badly already and b) it is a discontinued one:(

Yep, I'm back. Got that "smells nice but devil to use, and not a nice texture" body cream/lotion to get through - and once I'm through that I can raid the stash for a new Body Shop one! :T
Also got an Avon foot cream that needs gone - the incentive for that one is that the one I have to go on to is a S&G one! :D

Another aim is to get back to remembering to use my Avon night cream on a nightly basis. I'm a devil for forgetting, and have lost count of how many I've thrown out because they've gone past their best before they've been used. :o

MaddieMay I think that Nails Inc mini was a magazine freebie at one stage wasn't it? Have you put base coat/top coat with it as generally i don't find their polishes too bad for chipping?

Thanks for the new thread Miss Moneypenny.

I've decided I'm going to have a rolling Project Pan naming 5 items and each time one is finished switching another in. First list:-

    Elemis PCMC
Caudalie moisturiser (can't remember the name - it's in a pink tube)
    Nivea Invisible deodorant
    L'Occitane Shea Milk soap
    Sanctuary hand wash.

I need to find my Finish 5 by Christmas to update too.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

My prep was poor, I had put base coat on earlier in the day and then gone about my daily chores etc so it was my own fault, their polishes usually last well on me too.:D

  • Hi ladies,

I hope we're all well and ready to face November. I'm just about heading over my cold, still have an annoying cough but no where near as bad! Finding these darker days a bit tough though and my mental health wasn't great today.

Thinking of finally listing my makeup stash and a PP for up to Christmas.

I also need to tally up how I've done so far with UUs and ins for October. I'm making slow progress too as I keep chopping and changing, I hate throwing things away and I keep getting more samples in (more on that later....)

I went to the Elemis counter today and got my face mapped. Was interesting! It showed mainly what I expected plus a few surprises. Main one being I need an eye routine as its congested around there from using rich products too high on face. Also have loads of congestion down nose and this and under eyes we think may be down to my glasses!!! It makes sense now I've been so spotting and it's because my glasses frames are to blame. So I'm going to try carefully cleaning the frames with tea tree oil in an effort to stop the spots. She also suggested I use a facial scrub ... I've stayed away from these lately due to Caroline Hirons being against them. However the one she showed me felt so nice and she talked a lot of sense so here's my first in, but naughty but don't have a scrub apart from some very old dermalogica powder style stuff.

    In:
    Elemis skin buff
Gliss hair conditioner (only £1 to replace only conditioner when runs out)
Also ins, all sachets or teeny potted samples:
    Shu Umera
    Ultimate8 cleansing oil
Other samples x4 cannot currently read what these are as silver writing on white and can't see without my glasses on!!
    Kiehls:
    Creamy avocado eye x2
Smoothing oil leave in hair concentrate x2
    Hydro plumping serum
    2x samples for boyfriend
2x samples from Dior including a sleep mask and moisturiser
    Bobbi brown cleansing balm

I definitely have a problem obsessing over my face, my self esteem is just a bit rubbish and also I obsess over things in life. Once it was horoscopes! Need to work on this a bit I think.

    My PP list is:
Elemis frangipani body scrub, had since Christmas love but only have little bit left. Might try TBS version next. This is my old body scrub.
Mystery lush shampoo bar, currently only shampoo
    Treseme conditioner
Bobbi brown foundation and primer (both nearly gone and need a plan for after this including a face spf)
Loreal revitalift eye - debating chucking firstly it's aimed at ladies older than myself as I bought by accident, secondly it's very very old and definitely out of date. Not sure should be using?
A mini GWP Clinique moisturiser I'm using
A mini GWP Omorovicza night cream I'm using

Will try to post my makeup list later.

Thanks for the new thread Mrs Moneypenny!

Starting the month with a stash of 474.

I do have movement already though! I went to the shops today and replaced 3 items that I have been scraping the barrels of for weeks.
    1. Natural Collection Mocha/Latte Duo Eyeshadow. The Mocha shade is my perfect brow shade. It had 95% pan showing and the last little bits around the edge just wouldn't pick up on a brush. So satisfying to essentially UU an eyeshadow! Once I compared the new to the old, I realised the Latte shade in the old one was quite discoloured so called it quits and I have a shiny new one!
    2. Collection Clear Mascara. Use this as brow gel. Last one had basically solidified!
    3. Miss Sporty Perfect Stay 10 concealer. This is good stuff. I scraped as much as I possibly could out of the old one but it was time to say goodbye. I will try and UU some other concealers before I crack open the new one but I wanted to have a backup!

One other IN. I got the mascara and concealer in Superdrug and it was 3 for 2 across all makeup so I got a Make Up Revolution Baked Blush in Bang Bang You're Dead. It looks like it could be a dupe for my favourite blush, which I have made a massive dent in and it's been discontinued. Here's hoping!

And one other UU. Original Source Eucalyptus Shower Gel. Decanted this in to the soap dispenser as it is too drying. Don't count soap in the stash as everyone uses it so as far as I'm concerned, it's gone!

Good luck for a new month everyone! :)
  • Im IN, lets see if I can last until Christmas without buying...might have enough stuff although if I find some Timotei Ill be nabbing that:rotfl: UU of EOS lipbalm, liked the balm but the container was a pain and looked like a big nipple lol.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • I'm in for November!

    My UU list:

    Lady Gaga fame fragrance
    Osmo Effects detoxifying shampoo
    Osmo deep moisturising conditioner
    Adidas firming shower gel
    Johnson's baby powder
    Avon white lily bubble bath
    Avon Lavender bubble bath
    Simple micellar water
    2x Simple micellar cleansing wipes
    Wilko skin therapy cotton pads
    Primark cotton pads

    Let's do this! :D

    I'm in again.

Re glasses and their effects on the skin, I've been popping mine into the ultrasonic cleaner I bought for my rings - another problem area - on a semi-regular basis. My eyes area a lot less itchy and the skin around that area is better. Though the ultrasonics can be harsh on the coating on the lenses, so swings and roundabouts. But I could not see properly with my eyes running anyway, so it seems to be a price worth paying.
