Another TA - M & S vitamin booster for nails. Heaven knows how long I have had it but when I came to UU it was as sticky as hell. Now using Sally Hansen hardener on my awful fingernails which will need a lot of tlc before I can use a colour again.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser 200ml - I'm not getting as many blackheads anymore and I found this too harsh to use on bare skin as a toner. So I used it up as a make-up remover for which it was very effective. It'd be good for removing face paint as well. I have some micellar water in the stash which I'll now move on to. WMBA.
I think there's a high possibility I'll use up the rest of my night cream tonight so I may come back here tomorrow to log another use up.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
Thankyou dolly - im dreading it but excited at same time to see the place and find out what its like there, i just don't want to mess this interview up as i do want the job. Its so near to my home and the hours are manageable for me. Found out today ive been shortlisted for another job too a little further away but its another admin one. They cant interview us until second week of december. But its given me a little boost knowing im at least doing something right to get shortlisted for these two jobs. Fingers crossed.
And i have a uu to report:
Lynx attract for her deodorant body spray- WBA nice scent and did the job well. Lasted ages. Ive got plenty in stash to be going on with body spray wise. But i imagine ill pick this up again in future.
And some ins, needed a treat and someone was de stashing their lush so picked up some bargains:
Lush dirty springwash shower gel 250g (this is regular line... I normally use freeze gel for swimming as it gets rid of chlorine smell but its a kitchen product. Thought id try dirty springwash as its cheaper and regular line and see how it compares to freeze)
Lush olive branch shower gel 250g
Lush beautiful shower gel 250g
Lush monsters ball bath bomb x 2
Lush so white bath bomb
Lush shoot for the stars bath bomb
Lush red fun
Lush snow fairy fun
Lush elf on the shelf fun
Lush snow fairy body conditioner

I have a uu
John Frieda Go Curlier 100ml - WNBA, it does hold the curl but I rarely use a hairdryer and it is heat activated.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Woo, two products I've been using which refused to be finished are finally UU:
Alberto Balsam Anti-oxidant Blueberry Shampoo WBA, it's a nice scent and it doesn't irritate my scalp
Aquafresh Complete Care Whitening Toothpaste WDBA and I have another one waiting to be used. It has whitened my teeth a bit, and it's nice minty taste. I have a sample toothpaste to use up, so I'm going to use that first.0 -
good luck Gemzie, I'm sure you'll do brilliantly!
UU:
B Mascara - this got to the point here it was an effort to use so its out. WNBA, i don't think it did much.
NYX brow mascara - replaced in the US, new HG i think!
Skin and Tonic Face oil - WBA, this was pretty much a rescue oil when my skin needed something plain and simple and it really did turn my skin around.
Tarte mini marine boosting mist - WNBA on its own but ok as part of a set.
Foursquare face moisturiser - repurposed as a travel body lotion as I needed one that wasn't too big to take away and i am drowning in face cream! this was ok as a body moisturiser.
Elemis oil cleanser - i was surprised by this as usually my skin hates these oil ones but it really liked this one!
Elemis micellar water - WMBA as part of set but not on its own as i don't think it does much different to others.
Hourglass mini primer - possible new HG primer, my make up still looked amazing hours later with this on!
Stila eyeliner - WNBA as not cruelty free but this actually did a very good job.0 -
Hi ladies(and any fellas)! I hope you're all well.
Gemzie all the best for your interview - keeping my fingers crossed for you.
I have a UU and an IN/:
In - PCMC via Tatler! Wanted to try it. Not into the mag at all though which is a shame! Tempted to use the voucher if I get in with PCMC or to buy body oil and something else nice. Can't really afford to though....
UU - batiste dry shampoo. Anyone know any good dry shampoos that aren't sprays?0 -
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend
I have considered trying PCMC but worried that it will clog my (fairly young) combination skin that is soooo prone to congestion and clogged pores (plus dehydration and a fine line on my forehead!?) Does anyone here use it and have similar skin to mine?
IN:
7. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo + - This used to be my HG product for when my skin was horrifically congested and a bit spotty. However, I gave it up just before summer as I was buying it every month and had hoped to find something slightly cheaper, due to my tiny budget at the mo. I haven't found anything cheaper that works as well and my skin is looking pretty bad so today I caved and bought another tube of this. I think I will just resign myself to the fact that I will be purchasing this regularly, as it's one of the only things that works for my skin and makes me feel confident to go out with just mascara.
Hopefully that will be my last purchase for the year. I may have some IN's for Christmas but I've checked my stash and shouldn't NEED to buy anything until NY.0 -

Hi Sophie,
My skin sounds quite like yours so I will let you know how I get on! I'm 26, but I've been told it's good to start anti aging stuff around 25. I don't find my forehead gets fine lines but around my mouth tends to if I am dehydrated.
My skins been clogged and pimply lately - not sure if its products I'm using or, perhaps dehydration and then my skin is producing too much oil to counteract the dehydration.0 -
Have you heard of the oil cleansing method? You can adapt it to the condition of your skin. Search for it on here. I get an oily forehead and it works really well because it fools the skin into thinking it's producing too much oil so cuts back on the amount it produces. I think you can use it on a daily basis but I tend to use it more as a treatment and when I do it use it a couple of times a week.Did owe £9,951.96
