  • Some UUs:

Dove Winter Care Creme - a body butter type cream that was about as useable as an actual block of butter! Very moisturising but WNBA, too much like hard work.
L'occitane Divine Youth Oil sample - don't get on with facial oils

To break even on my Ins and Outs in 2016, I need to buy nothing and use up 24 items by 31 December. Hmm.

Body scrub recommendation - I have a Boots Extracts almond scrub which is lovely and doesn't have microbeads in. I grumbled about my large scrub stash, but once i'd used the last one I found I really missed them and ended up buying this.
  • hello everyone!

I'm back from honeymoon now. wedding went brilliantly and the holiday was great and well needed! i went a bit mental in Sephora though and combined with the love lula box and vegan kind beauty box I've amassed a total of 96 ins this month

aim for this year is to try and at least balance out so the stash itself hasn't grown. might do beauty boxes for the mums again for xmas too, one of them actually asked if i was doing them as she gets such good stuff in it! :rotfl:
  • Congratulations evilsquid, I'm glad everything went well:T

UU here Marc Jacobs So Fresh body lotion, might manage to UU the shower gel soon too.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

    Two UUs:

Lush Lord of Misrule bath bomb WDBA. My favourite seasonal bath bomb.

Lush Boo bath melt WDBA, why didn't I get another one when I had the chance? It's so moisturising.

I'm also nearly at the end of my last Original Source shower gel :j , but is it bad that I've used 250ml of shower gel in 10 days? It seems like I have to use a lot of the Original Source ones as the consistency can be quite thin and you need a lot to get a good lather.

It also seems like I've gotten to the point with a few products where the end is in sight, but then there's still so much product left. I might have a few UUs in the morning.

    .

I have a set of 6 Original Source shower gels someone gave me on my birthday - love em and slowly working my way through them. A bath lily/ scrubby is what you need. One of those poofy things made out of plastic netting - squirt a bit on the bath lily, and squidge it till it foams up and is enough to soap up the whole body - makes shower gels last twice as long
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Problem is, I always use a shower poffy things and I still need quite a bit to get a good lather. I'm not really complaining though, as I have 7 shower gels left after I finish this one :/

    A few UUs

Herbal Essences Naked Volume conditioner - very meh, but considering it was cheap it was not bad.

Elemis Sweet Orchid body cream - this was a freebie. It was nice enough, but no better than my usual Garnier body lotion so I wouldn't buy it.

Nivea Vital Extra Nourishing day cream - this was also a freebie and I would never buy this. It left my skin really dry and rough. I think I have now tried every Nivea moisturiser in existence and they all upset my skin.

2 more UUs for me, taking me to 7 for the month.

1 x Foot mask socks - currently on and will stay on all night. I love how soft they make my feet, definietly a HG and a bargin at £1!

1 x Body Shop Peppermint foot scrub. WMBA - have had this for some time, and it has been open a while so had lost some of it's sent but it still scrubbed well!

Body scrub recommendation - I have a Boots Extracts almond scrub which is lovely and doesn't have microbeads in. I grumbled about my large scrub stash, but once i'd used the last one I found I really missed them and ended up buying this.

I really like that Boots Almond scrub - I find it exfoliates well, but isn't too harsh so you could use it regularly without concern! I was gutted when I finished it last month, but once I'm through my others it's definitely one I'll buy again!

I get through Original Source ones quite quickly as well, but I think that's more because I love the smell of them so much that I'm not shy! I agree with shandyclover's recommendation of a shower lily, that defo helps get the most out of any shower gel!
  • carrying on the decluttering- i have thrown out 2 eyeshadows from gosh as i have a over three years and i feel the creamy sticks may harbour bacteria.
i threw out 2 lip glosses as it have been opened and i know they are a few years old. i tossed out cymex, berts bees serum and two old testers of foundation.
i have not bought anything in a while so i am feeling proud of that. i hope to be a bit better in the new year

Do you have any of the new shower milks? I noticed they don't foam up as much as the original ones. My mum is a chemist and thinks it's probably because they are intended to be more moisturizing than foaming. Apparently we don't need all the foaminess to get clean, and when I had problems with dry skin she suggested I use something less foamy.
