The last 3 paragraphs explain the issue with basically a law school graduate rocking up and claiming to have a RoA.

    What is needed is:
    • a fully qualified solicitor
    • a fully qualified barrister (who is a member of chambers and/or who is in his "second six" of pupillage)
    • a trainee solicitor or legal executive in the employment of and supervision of a law firm
The problem is that you are entitled to call yourself a barrister on completion of your exams (but until they have completed your "first six" (i.e. initial 6 month placement), they will not have rights of audience).

LPC and Elms Legal are not able to supervise their advocates. When instructed as an advocate they are not under direct supervision. Further if they only get papers on the day of the hearing they are not directly involved in the conduct of litigation, so then foul of the various exemptions that do exist.

but i dont see a text number?

Why are you Googling it? This has been discussed so many times on court threads here, all you needed to do is search the forum, not Google. As I said:
Search the forum for 'Law Gazette Rights of Audience BMPA'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

I cant work out what this Law Gazette thing involves and requires to be honest

This is so worth you researching and understanding.

You could win straight away if it turns out that their rep has no ROA.

lets hope they are available at 10am on thursday!

Is the legitimate claim to RoA that they are a gladstone solicitor? any other response is unacceptable right?

No. Gladstones NEVER send one of 'their' solicitors anyway.

You need to read the links by Johnersh which explain it, as do his posts above. And hope the BMPA respond, if not then crack on with your actual defence points once in the room.

Get there half an hour early, to park and get through security and calm yourself in the waiting room, looking out for the hired legal rep. Don't accept any papers from him/her, don't agree to a little chat, but do ask their name and text the BMPA from the waiting room:

Thanks ive got my head around it now, got the article and case law and the number saved in my phone.

Now ive printed everything I sent document wise, do i need to do anything else than turn up? Is like a 'notes' page allowed of personal summary points for myself to talk over? / remember the situations applicable to RoA

also, on check the rep, it asks for claimant name but not claimants hire firm (gladstone in this case) so im to assume the answer is PCM Ltd

Im searching the forum for the term you mentioned with no luck so far!
Just to add, it seems you are searching wrong, as you said you couldn't get your head around the long threads. You should not be searching for threads - I never do.

When searching this forum, change the search to 'show POSTS' and you'll find what we are going on about, within seconds.

Certainly. A good idea to calm your nerves and crack on with each point, not missing a trick.

Yep, the BMPA already know that PCM use Gladstones and how they can be beaten! :)
