I would have hoped that most people would have enough intelligence not to lash out over £250-300+ for an electric radiator.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0

Some on this forum have spent over £1,500 per plug in heater!0 -
I can get the heatstore intellirads at trade price so 6 radiators are 1500 where as 5 radiators with electrostore were 3300 and the dimplex quantum were 4500 never mind fisherfuture....
I like the idea of these intelligent radiators with timers and thermostats built in
Just wondered if anyone had experience with them.0 -

Electric heat is a function of the electric heater you choose, they all produce heat with the same efficiency.
Initial investment cost, maintenance cost and running costs are however a critical part of choice because before their second anniversary they quickly form the much greater part of any investment.
The greatest year on year cost then is switching them on and there are only two pricing options - cheaper - expensive - you decide. All 'grog' filled convectors have similar characteristic's, your primary decision is which tariff you choose to heat your dwelling and water to a comfort level @ which tariff rate.

If someone offered me 6 of these trade I would not buy them. If someone offered me 6 of these free - I'd take them - sell them - and buy NSH.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I've asked CEF and they have told me that Intellirad is Heatstore so basically Dimplex is manufacturing an electric radiator???!!!! All electric heating are the same but it depends on the electronics and how you use it I think....I've asked for a trial and do you know that you need to connect it by Bluetooth which is not working?
It sounds rubbish to me as now Dimplex wants to copy Fisher, Rointe, Haverland and Elnur!0 -
Nearly 1 year on from last comment on this forum, I've just had Heatstore Dynamic Intelirad Aluminium Radiators fitted. Very easy to use the menu/setup controls and highly efficient. Very impressed and finally "toasty warm" too.0
