Here's the thing bob, I CAN imagine winning. So at the moment it's my go-to day dream!
I have also stumbled upon a new technique to keep me in line. Each day, I check my bank accounts, and I tick off each debit from my budget. One of my downfalls is that previously I would work out a rough kind of budget, then not really think or look at it over the month. Lots more would come out because I had forgotten bits and I didn't think about it. This way, each day I can check and any payments get ticked off (or updated if the amount is different to the budget. I have got my spending money already accounted for - which I am tracking religiously. So this method is working for me!
Today is no-spends day Wednesday and I will be mainly focused on making damn sure I'm getting bonus in the next couple of months!!!
Managed to get some tasty leftovers from last night (roast chicken) so today think we will have that for lunchyummy!
Hope you all have a productive day!

Happy Thrifty Thursday everyone!
I am just back from lunch, feeling more and more confident that my team will hit the targets and get me a BIG OLD CHRISTMAS BONUS, which would be amazing.
I really am feeling each day that does by like a weight has lifted. Getting rid of the overdraft was an amazing feeling and each day, I check my bank and check off the budgeted outgoings, it makes me feel like I am making progress everyday!
My old payday was the 20th, so I have lots of DDs that come out then, and then around the beginning of the month the house expenses come out. So it feels really nice to be able to update my budget everyday with what is paid
I still have to get the OH his Christmas present (his wedding ring) and a few other bits, so I am going to wait until the beginning of December to do any more Christmas shopping, because my budget is showing a surplus of around £120 but I want to make sure that there aren't any unexpected payments that I need to make before I spend it!
Then I can get ahead of my Christmas shopping - and save more money in December.
Hope you are all having a great day - we are having Shepherd's pie for dinner (still got half a pack of mince leftover from spag bol last night)

Haha - feeling ok, just tired and my sides are a little sore!
Eating lots of chocolate to get me through - apparently it has healing properties? Pretty sure that's right.
Medicinal chocolate.. It's a thing.
On the bright side - today was a NSD, despite REALLY fancying a takeaway I had freezer junk instead
Tomorrow - I am getting my hair done and going to see my sister!
yay!

OK- 12 hours of sleep has left me feeling much better. Still sore and tired, but getting there!
Having my hair done at the moment - not cheap, but, all planned in the budget!
Had to pay the photographer deposit yesterday (£250!) But, again, budgeted for.
Tried on my wedding dress yesterday which cheered me up no end
Forgot to mention a good money saving tip for those of us who shave - Friction Free Shaving- you pay £3, £5 or £7 per month and they send you a razor and 4 new blades per month- so you get a fresh blade each week. Saves me lots of pennies in expensive razor blades or sore skin from crappy blades!
Hope you're all having a super saving Saturday, managed to make it through the week without buying any extra food - woo hoo!
