Ahh you guys are the best!!

If all goes to plan, next month is going to be a big one for us - paying off my loan and barclaycard, paying for our ceremony (£424) and hopefully completing on the house!!

We have our wedding invites printed now, just need to start giving them out :)

Also, started making my little pom poms for the tables for the wedding, got loads of wool from hobbycraft for £10 in lovely colours so feeling good about that, they don't take long so shouldn't be too bad. I have also engaged the niece and nephew to assist!

    It's all coming together!!!

What isn't coming together: on Saturday night, I went out and had a few drinks with the OH and his friends and somehow ended up getting very, very drunk, very, very quickly. I suspect that there might have been foul play by someone at the bar, because I spent until 10.30 last night throwing up and gave myself cystitis because I couldn't keep anything down!

Tried to go to work today, but still feeling rough - not a normal hangover at all. So, taking it easy today just doing some washing and wedding bits. Oh and also crying my eyes out watching call the midwife, as you do!

Dinner tonight is probably homemade beans with sausages and mash :) will be yummy and hopefully leftovers for lunches this week too!

Hope everyone else's week has had a better start!!

    xx

Oh Laura your hangover or whatever it was sounds horrendous. Makes mine sound tame :rotfl: Hope you're feeling better soon.

Ahh you guys are so great! I am so happy right now, it's all happening for us!

Tonight we had chicken casserole with roast potatoes - so yummy. Great dinner 10/10 tonight and loads of veggies - cheap, tasty and healthy - the TRIFECTA!

    Hi everyone!

I am having a good week with the moneysaving - although I did have to do my weekly shop early because we were running low on a few essentials, but I planned and got some nice bits in for dinner and lunches this week.

Good news all round my end:
    - The OH is going to change his contact lens subscription to DaySoft - it's £20 a month cheaper than his current so he can put that towards his debts :)
    - Lady is coming to pick up the wedding dress top in Feb so I will have an extra £400 to pay for the ceremony
    - Had an email from the solicitor today - all is going well with the house and we have had the initial enquiries back all fine - just need to find out a couple more things - we are on track to complete 1st March.
    - Wedding plans are also coming along nicely, I have found a reading that I like (from Game of Thrones hahahahaha) so feeling positive about that
    - December month is looking good, so should be on track for a good bonus in February.

Lunch today was oven roasted pollock on toast - sounds weird but it was cheap and tasty so we are going with it!

Chilli tonight with plenty of my favourite secret lentils :)

I am feeling super organised and things are all on track - exciting times!!
