    Hi LF!

Turkey stew sounds great - I am excited for when we move and I can use the freezer for batch cooking! At the moment I eat leftovers for lunch, but when I am just cooking for 2 it will be good to have somewhere to store leftovers :)

I am pretty sure that all soups and stews are totally medicinal! Especially with homemade bread - if that doesn't cure a sore throat what will??

Yep - today was another good bonus day, and I hear on the grapevine that there might be a bonus paying role coming up - which is great because my role is changing soon and I wont earn it for long!

I am hoping for another big bonus in Feb - it's hard not spending money at the moment, because it's miserable outside and I would normally cheer myself up with takeaways and new clothes. Today was another NSD - I think I am going to track them in Feb!

    We had pork stir fry tonight, going food shopping tomorrow, the menu for next week is;

    - Fish and homemade chips (breaded cod on offer in lidl)
    - Chicken casserole (stew pack of veg on offer in lidl)
    - Chicken risotto
    - Venison cracker (in the freezer, needs eating)
    - Sausages and homemade beans
    - Pork gyozas (still got pork to use)

I am reallllllllllllly hoping to get all my food shopping under £30 this week, I think that I can do it if I am careful. No naughty chocolate is going to be sneaking it's way into my trolley tomorrow..!

LF you're right, it is pretty amazing, I am feeling good that I am getting organised about it all. The wedding is coming together nicely, and the house is ticking along at the moment so hopefully we are still set to move in around March.

Lots of things going on, but it's all going well at the moment!

    How's everyone's thrifty Thursday??

I can't batch cook because the husband just eats it all in one sitting. :D

Well done on the meal planning, it's something I need to learn to do.

Ha ha box of paws - I know the feeling!! I have to make sure that I have loads of snacks in for mr B89!!

I have had a busy day today - I did my food shopping £37 for this week - not too bad, considering. We had out meeting with the registrar today as well, she has insisted that we think about readings :/

Got a fun weekend planned, and it was lovely to have the day off today to get more wedding stuff done - invites have been printed now :)

    It's all coming together!
