Saw a photo of a dog in a car where the note not only gave name & contact phone but pointed out dog had air con, water & his choice of radio station, as well as frequent visits. A portable solar boosted radio would spare your battery. Yes indeed, blankets. S'getting chillier, these days.

    Hoping car survives GitDog's affections!

Any volunteers for an over friendly stupidly exciteable bull terrier, with ADHD and lacking in impulse control. Strong as an ox and all the greetings skills of a steam roller, hence the need to keep away from children, anyone unsteady on their feet and dogs who would prefer not to have him landing on their head. Also prone to uncontrolled spinning and speedy figures of eights on the end of the lead, any time or place, with no prior warning.
Obsessed with plastic bottles and willing to chase these underneath passing cars as required.

And this is the new, improved trained version.

I can see the queues forming from here. :rotfl:

elsien, when I got my darling Miss Leigh (Viv to her friends), I was working away from home and it was May. To be fair, I worked in one place. She used to have the venerable Honda CR-V fitted out as a mobile kennel with "Trident" dog guard, a bed, toys and water. I would move the car around the building so that she remained in the shade and leave the sunroof slightly open. For a few days gitdog should be fine.

(Oh and she had a walk before work, one at lunch time and one in the evening.)

So day 1 of "take your Gitdog to work" week has gone ok.
Slept half the morning, talked to me lots when I got back, then sat and watched the world go by on my second visit.
Mobile number left on dashboard just in case.

This is his "are we picnicking in the car? Can I have some" face on my lunch break.
