I have withdrawn £10 from Heart Bingo.

sorry not been on much today. work was a nightmare due to slow internet connection and bad laptop.

I am also volunteering for the PTA, so busy trying to sort out school disco tickets and money and making sure it is being promoted lol.

Glad to hear you are ok Lynne

I had a lovely surprise yesterday - a letter from our friends at the tax office saying they owe me £25.99. This makes a quite respectable £70.82 total.

I am a little bit cross with Npower - I changed my electricity to another supplier and my Npower account now shows as closed online. It also shows a £130 credit which I assume needs to be refunded. But all I have had from Npower is a series of emails asking why I have cancelled my Direct Debit. I sent a message explaining and asking for my refund but they haven't responded back yet. I do believe they won an award for Worse Energy Supplier In The World and I can see why!

Welcome back, Lynne. Really happy that things are getting back to normal (or better than normal) for you:kisses3:. Well done on the interest, that's a mega amount:T. I received a whole 30p (yes, that's pence not pounds) from mine:rotfl:

Aesop, thanks very much for the link:T. I could do with a few new ideas as some of the old ones have stalled a bit. Now the outdoor car boot season is over I'm not doing too well at the moment:(. Well done on the bingo payout:T. Sorry about your ongoing laptop/connection problems. Miraculously, mine seem to have cured themselves (or one of the zillion deperate fixes I attempted actually worked eventually) but I haven't fully uncrossed my fingers yet. Another laptop is definitely top of my wish list;)

TheBanker, it's always good to receive a nice surprise from the Taxman:beer:. Yes, nPower win all the awards for the worst ever customer service. We were with them decades ago and they were totally inept even then:eek:. Good Luck getting your money back:beer:

Nothing to report moneywise here:(. I seem to be doing a lot of surveys in the evenings now my internet connection is holding for long enough and am approaching payout on some but not quite yet, sadly:(

A bit late to the party this month but I'll be brave and try for £10 a day this time.

Have lined up some overtime for this month. Won't see it til December but it is all extra towards xmas I suppose.
OH has been doing some overtime too so that will go towards the debts.
Not very exciting I know but it should reduce the worry about how much we owe.
Well done everyone who are already off to a good start.

Give them five working days to refund you in the bank and tell them you will charge them an admin fee of 30 pounds in addition to 15% interest PER DAY for every day beyond this.
