Evening all. Just having a quick lurk before bed! Well done everyone who is off the mark already :)
I bought a pair of pumps and a top the other day that I am going to return tomorrow (unworn) and get the money back which will be £46 I am hoping I can count this! I also have 10 items to list on eb@y tomorrow to keep me out of the pub!!
I am shocked laptops are only built to last 2 years!! Fingers crossed this one keeps going until at least next xmas (it's 4 years old already!!)

yes you can to the refund.

Yes it is shocking, gone are the days of appliances lasting for years and being dependable, parts available, etc etc. :(

mine is probably 3 years old, and DS has my old hand me down so definitely over 5 years old. it needs a graphics card but I am hoping that DH will buy DS a new one (refurbished from argos) for xmas as he needs it for school work. the little blighter knows the password to mine and opened it today and said I dont know why Mummy has facebook open.....

    Well done:T

Black Friday is 25th November this year. I'm hoping my laptop hangs on until then so I can replace it;)
  • The Daily Mail Rewards Club (or whatever it's called) are running the offer again where 1000 points qualifies for a £5 Argos code. Their other rewards need 2000 points for a £5 voucher elsewhere so this is a real bargain. Have just redeemed 2000 points for £10 Argos codes. Can only be used instore not online but I've no real problem with that. Valid for ages so don't have to rush out and spend straight away:j

Also, received £5.72 from Amazon for book sales:T.

Glad I'm finally out of the blocks:j

Thanks for that CBC. I have nearly 900 points so hope I can make it to 1000 before the sale ends.

Have £5 AGC from swagbucks to add today so £7.80 so far

Evening lovelies and a warm welcome to the new peoples and returners :hello:

Thanks a million for all the thoughts and wishes for me yesterday. It really helped knowing some people were thinking of me. Not a pleasant experience but seems to be okay so far. Have to put in drops for four weeks and it's still a bit itchy and sore but that's only to be expected eh :D

Well done all those kicking off money making for November. I'm just going to update the challengers' list, post three, so please check t/m that you're down and correctly :o

I have £23.02 interest to add from the bank :j

Hope you all have a fantastic Friday
