Sorry to hear about your poor dog, jojitsui. I hope you've both recovered from the ordeal now:kisses3:. Sadly, fireworks aren't just for Bonfire night/weekend like they used to be. They seem to be going off for the slightest reason these days. As for New Year's Eve......
My cat isn't bothered by them although his hearing is 100%. He gets spooked by doorbells ringing even when they are on a TV programme. And as for football on TV, he is fascinated every time the ref blows his whistle. It doesn't scare him though, just interests him and he runs towards the screen:rotfl:
Have a great moneymaking week, everyone:beer:0 -

Bit disappointed with my first week with shopandscan.
Uploaded all my barcodes and after trying for ages........managed to upload receipts as well.
I got credited with 500 for receipts but nothing for barcodes which gives the bigger points. Not sure what I did wrong and had no response from my email I sent them.
Have done again this week so will see if it has worked on Tuesday. I will have to give them a ring if it hasnt worked again.
they credit you points on Tuesday, did you do this last Tuesday?
something they suggest is to point your scanner at a blank wall and keep pressing the button so the red light is lit on the wall. think somehow clears any errors with the scanner.
also make sure it is charge, ie green light when scanning. if it is on red light, may not be scanning correctly.
also make sure you scan the username first, whoever bought the shopping, then the shop, then the amount.DS does mine and on occassion he forgets, scans the food shop and then does the book. I said I may not get credited if you do that.
good luck and hope you get it sorted.0 -
So I've been scanning my shopping for Nielsen for a few years now. I generally just plod along without bothering to check my balance or anything because of how long it would take to be able to get the 'good stuff'. So I just had my yearly glance which turned into me being able to cash in (some!) of my points for a camera which seems to retail at about £100!
I'm not going to count it in my total as although it's something I've wanted for myself for a while now it is not something I was actually going to buy any time soon as I could make do with my phone. But still, feeling like a very smug tortoise right now!
well done! I gave it up years ago as found it very irritating, being told to empty my voicemail as they could not transmit. Do you get your yearly bonus for being on the panel?0 -

Not sure whether it's a universal offer or specific to me but might be worth checking them out if you are planning using one of those sort of sites. I've registered with them ages ago but never used them so maybe it's an introductory offer. Sorry, no idea of expiry date of offer or any other details as haven't the time to check the Ts & Cs yet and am going out now. Just wanted to give you the 'heads up':)

thanks for posting carbootcrazy. useful info, although I am not currently using them for anything. hope others can take advantage0 -
sorry to hear about your dog jojitsui, they can sell silent fireworks now so I wish they would. someone posted a video of a mum who had bought some, pretty but lovely and quiet.

That sounds really useful:T. Is it the current issue? Worth paying for if it's got some really relevant stuff in it as usually it doesn't (as far as I'm concerned anyway:o)
Received £8 from postal survey:j. Nothing else to declare:(0 -
Well my insurance renewal has tracked at £50 cashback from quidco - shan't count it till they pay it though :grr
I also have £26 in Debenham vouchers to spend - I'll get something from there for christmas presents so it's money I'd have spent anyway - but I won't count it till I've spent it (and they have a special event on again now/soon... I didn't really read the mail LOL) SO it's a little bleak for me this week LOL Finally getting to a point where I'll have time to list my craft things and stash so I'm hoping that will help my total by the end of this weekDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -

yeah. it's £1.99 and I wouldn't have bought it but I checked it first and I need to check out some of it. if it works and proves that they really know what they are talking about will tell you. they had common sense stuff like hoovering dust out or use dust spray to waive it0 -

The laptop gremlins have got me. It's gradually giving up the ghost but I've got everything backed up so when it finally does go.... Would Christmas offers or January sales be the best time to pick up a new one?!#13 Make 2023 in 2023 - £2085.20/£2023#23 Save £8k in 2023 - £6642.66/£80000
