Thanks all - bizarrely when I first looked here part of my last post was missing entirely, but has now reappeared...not sure what was going on there! 

The three filled hip flasks have indeed been set aside ready to go with us although will be safely stashed in the boot for the journey! We tend to have a nip from them in the evenings, and if going for a walk directly from the cottage on days when we know we won't need to drive later. 

Final day of work for me for the year and so far it's just me in, lovely and peaceful! Those following our game of C*vid roulette this week will deduce from that information that we both got clear tests again this morning...I swear it gets more nervewracking every day now! The plan is that we will test when we get up tomorrow, and then just before we leave for M&D's on Saturday, and that test will then cover us for the ferry on Monday too - then my poor nostrils will be getting a break until a couple of days before we see our friends! 

Rubbish night's sleep last night as MrEH was restless with a bit of a reaction to his booster, we think. I eventually got up to see if he would get off to sleep more easily without me there as well and stayed up for a bit over an hour after which he came through and said that we ought to swap as he was still struggling to settle and it made more sense for me to try to get to sleep - which I did, until the alarm disturbed me rather rudely a couple of hours later! I did use the time constructively though deleting a whole load of photos from my iCloud to get it back under the limit for my backups again. I'm blowed if I'm prepared to spend more than the 79p a month I do currently on it, so I'll just need to trim it down every now and again! 

There's going to be a fair bit to get done this evening I think - I need to check back on earlier to-do lists that MrEH and I had put together and see what still needs tackling. 

I should be paid today, and we think MrEH will be too - I'm about to check banking. Joint account surplus feels a little lower than I was hoping this month but several travel-type things have been paid using the joint account rather than the CC. The CC currently has just £152 on it with nothing pending. A good chunk of that will be food related, so will be from a different budget. 

Oh - and Pr1me proved its worth last night when MrEH discovered that his waterproof trousers had developed a large hole in a less than ideal location. Identified a replacement pair on Am@z0n, ordered, and hopefully they'll be with us tomorrow.

I've just done a Power of Opinions survey getting me to over the 1000 point mark FINALLY - I've requested cash-out to an Amazon voucher as I can't be bothered to wait for another 50 points to get to paypal level! 

Also had a little flurry on OnePoll this morning so now on 1920 points there. 
Prolific is still at £19.01 paid/£4.43 pending

Excellent points collecting there, and good spot on the trousers! Don't want leaky trousers!

It was more that they could from a distance appear to be indecent trousers that was my concern...they ARE overtrousers, but that's not necessarily that obvious!!

I'm on a roll today - remembered that I needed to put a TCB claim in for the Voda BB transfer too - it's there, but showing in grey, and just as "Vodaf0n3" rather than the "home BB" bit as well, so we'll see what they say. It would be lovely to get it because it was £60-something but I suspect they are going to claim I clicked through from the wrong place (I definitely didn't, and the right date/time did show on the drop down options, so fingers crossed...) Anyway, it's done so I can forget about it now.  

MrEH is apparently feeling a bit of post-booster roughness - he was poorly for a day after his first AZ one too, his booster was moderna which does seem to be leading to reactions in AZ people, although less so in team Pfizer folks - probably due to them both being the same sort of vaccine? (Guesswork - I have NO idea if that's why!) 

I've been paid - he still hasn't and I'm guessing won't be today now. I have a £200 bonus from my lot too which is lovely - I've stashed it tidily away somewhere as I've decided I definitely am going to spend it on nice things this year not just save it - I'll wait until after Christmas to see if there are any "wants" on my list that I don't get bought.

From what I've seen with the boosters, those who had AZ as the first two but Pfizer as the booster are the ones that have suffered after the booster. Those that had Pfizer first have been fine after the booster. So my guess is the same as you. However, this is obviously just from what I've seen and my sample has been older folks who had the AZ and younger folks who had the Pfizer. 

DH had his booster yesterday and although classes as "younger" folk in this sample, he did have AZ as his first two. He seems fine today so we will see. 

Hope MrEH is feeling better soon.

Another one here suffering from booster after-effects!

Both OH & I had AZ as our first two shots - he had a Pfizer for his booster two weeks ago with hardly any reaction other than fatigue and a sore arm.  I had Moderna yesterday and have fever, chills, dizziness & an arm that feels like led!  It's puzzling to us, as with the first two, I was out with flu-like symptoms for a week after each shot and he had barely any reaction.  Neither of us are particularly young, but he is 15 years older & with some health issues, whereas I'm younger & much healthier!

Just to disagree with that theory.

Mr RS had AZ for his first two and Pfizer for his second and had no side effects from the booster, although he did feel rough after his first AZ.

I had Pfizer for my first two with no side effects but felt really ill last week after my Moderna booster.

I really do think it is luck of the draw.

That is very much a possibility. My theory is only a guess from what I've seen from people I know. Nothing else.

I'm fine now thanks. Still got swollen arm pit glands but at least they don't hurt now. Glad I had it last week and not this week though. Wouldn't have wanted to feel that rough over Christmas thats for sure!!
