Greenbee - shhh…don’t tell anyone but it’s like a swan - all calm and organised on the surface but paddling frantically underneath! 🤣4 -
Love the photos EH. Were those mushrooms in the first picture? They looked amazing.

One of the teachers did explain that when you get into the philosophy of yoga, clearing a space to practice is important. This is a long Covid therapy trial being run by a Iyengar yoga uk, so I have 2 teachers and a therapist in an individual session, and it’s all supported poses to help with breathing, cardiac symptoms and joint pain.Next house needs a dedicated yoga studio.Although it’s amazing how much having a clean, clear space to live in helps too.5

That sounds really interesting Greenbee - I take it from the way you talk about it that you feel it’s effective too? I get a lot of peri-menopause related joint pain these days and know when I work on my mobility & flexibility more it definitely helps, it’s finding the time. Yes, I know, I need to make the time don’t I?!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I have found a big increase in flexibility in the two months I have been doing balance (starter yoga) classes. I am extremely over-weight so if it can help me I am sure it can help others tooAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Even without practising between classes (which I don't have time to do - work takes up most of it) it seems to be helping the fatigue (I'm tired, but properly tired) and the muscle pain (still have aches, but an actually relate them to things I've done rather than feeling that they're random.
The joint pain is being investigated - I've seen a rheumatologist, had some xrays, had yet more blood tests and am off for nerve conduction testing on Wednesday.6 -

The issue I have is the that the only place I have for practising is the front room, and of course in the evening it means moving MrEH from his usual sitting space, interrupting what’s on the TV etc… I probably could make a more regular effort though in fairness. It’s great that it’s working for you too - hopefully the test results will give you some more answers too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
