Greenbee - shhh…don’t tell anyone but it’s like a swan - all calm and organised on the surface but paddling frantically underneath! 🤣

Well it seems to work... as for the housework, I have done very little over the past year, but now I have yoga therapy on Saturdays, so have to clear space (and am very conscious of the fact that the therapists can see the house even if they're supposed to be looking at me - in fact one of them even commented on how interesting it is to see people's houses), so Saturday morning's involve housework in preparation for yoga. And I love how much better I feel now I'm getting rid of the clutter and dust and cobwebs. Even if I'd rather be gardening.

Love the photos EH. Were those mushrooms in the first picture? They looked amazing.

    I have a cleaner. Life's too short...

I used to have one. They're almost impossible to find around here...

yep - I deliberately walked round via a log that this time last year was absolutely crammed with various different types of fungus, this year though barely any! MrEH has just commented that there seems to be a lot less this year than last.

Greenbee perhaps that’s what I need as an incentive then! Might work to actually get me back to doing more regular yoga as well come to think of it! 😆

Next house needs a dedicated yoga studio.

Although it’s amazing how much having a clean, clear space to live in helps too.
Absolutely. Maybe one day I can have both.

That sounds really interesting Greenbee - I take it from the way you talk about it that you feel it’s effective too? I get a lot of peri-menopause related joint pain these days and know when I work on my mobility & flexibility more it definitely helps, it’s finding the time. Yes, I know, I need to make the time don’t I?!

I have found a big increase in flexibility in the two months I have been doing balance (starter yoga) classes. I am extremely over-weight so if it can help me I am sure it can help others too

Absolutely no reason why your weight would affect your flexibility SH - or indeed why it would affect half the other things your GP might be determined to convince you it will, either! 😉 I’ve enjoyed reading on your diary how much you’ve enjoyed the balance classes!

Greenbee you’re right about practising - when I actually stick a Yoga With Adriene (which is what I’ve been working through - her 30 day challenges) on and do that then it’s fine, I find doing unguided practises far more challenging though, and yes, those rarely last longer than about 15 - 20 minutes at best. The issue I have is the that the only place I have for practising is the front room, and of course in the evening it means moving MrEH from his usual sitting space, interrupting what’s on the TV etc… I probably could make a more regular effort though in fairness.  It’s great that it’s working for you too - hopefully the test results will give you some more answers too.
