Disney ticket disaster
Brevian
We were due to fly to Florida for the holiday of a lifetime with our family when one of our party was diagnosed with a broken hip two days before departure. We made the very difficult decision to cancel and plan to reschedule for 2017. We had booked 10 Disney/Universal switch tickets by debit card from Orlando Attraction Tickets at a cost of almost £5k which expire at the end of 2016. They are unwilling to extend/amend/credit these in any way and so far Disney have also refused to help. We also find that our insurance company only cover tickets that were purchased as part of a holiday package and so have no way of recouping this money. Any suggestions as to a way forward?

How rude and there is nothing in the post about a bargain this is just you surmising that the OP thinks the deal was good against what you may think is false offer.
Seriously people on this forum are so up themselves lately it is getting stupid, Then others wonder why people don't come on here as often well when attitudes are as they appear at present it understandable.0 -
It's not clear why you would cancel if just one of the party had a broken hip. Is wheelchair access available? Seems the more expensive way to go, in any case.Advent Challenge: Money made: £0. Days to Christmas: 59.0

I think it's because this had been posted in the wrong sub-section, it's in 'Report deals, bargains and special offers'. Pogofish was just attempting a spot of brevity, not intending to be rude. Judging by your rant it obviously didn't translate well to the written word.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I agree that it was a bit extreme for the whole party to cancel, but I don't think it would be wise to travel 2 days after breaking a hip
