Good Morning :hello:
Ay up Tilly - lovely to *see* youWe normally buy the frozen blueberries from mrAl, but they seem to be forever oos of them. We did actually have a bag from mrL last time, but have finished them now. The swap to 'fresh' was purely coincidental - we'll get back to frozen just now - much more economical
The pharmacist thought BG had hay fever, and prescribed P1r1t0n. But BG won't touch it - they don't like the taste (mint - who came up with mint for children???), and their symptoms are progressing much more like a cold. Although I concede that their symptoms to begin with were much more HF like. I don't know why their temperature spiked last night - they are back to normal this morning, although they are now limping, so I don't know what they have done to their foot overnight............ There is absolutely no obvious problem/symptom - I'm flummoxed.
Well, the footy was a waste of time last night - not the actual match, that was a thriller. But our stupid recorder didn't start on time, and missed the first goal, and then we were watching away, got to about 70 minutes and the tape stopped........ ARGHHHHHHHH! :rotfl: So I didn't know until this morning that it ended up 3-3. But as an exhibition of footballing skill, it was excellent, and so much better than watching England play.
I'm hopeful that the recorder has made a better fist of recording a Paul H-wood programme off f00d n3tw0rk, which was focussing on the food of Jerusalem. I'd not seen this particular episode, and it looked so interesting. I rarely watch TV these days, so it'll make a nice change to watch an informative programme.
Tea this evening should be curry. I have got an aubergine from mrL (45p) and some YS'd mushrooms from M&$ (65p), so it'll be something in this direction.
I can't think of anything else :money:to add, so best pootle orf and do summat.
Ta for popping by. Appreciated. Greatly.

Pesky tape recorder! Glad BG's symptoms are moving on (or rather moving round the body in a random fashion). Hope they move off altogether pretty soon!

Good Evening :hello:
Thanks you lovely lotBG has caught up on their Zzzzz's a bit today, and whilst they are still limping, they don't seem quite so bunged up in the nasal area. I'm genuinely hoping it is a cold, as at least that could clear up - hay fever could go on for yonks yet, depending on the trigger
Neither DH nor I can find anything wrong with BG's leg nor foot - there is no tenderness, no soreness, redness or swelling. It's a complete mystery.
We went out for a pootle this morning. Got a few bits and bobs from HB, including another tray of med. roasting veg.
DH kindly let me catch up on my Zzzz's this afternoon. But clearly thought that I'd had enough time after a couple of hours and started banging and crashing about with impunity..........
Tea worked out well. I ended up improvising with the aubergine curry, as I hadn't got half the ingredients that I needed :rotfl: I went down the 'slight heat' from a bit of green chilli, coupled with a heft of smoked paprika, a dollop of lemon and some coriander. I don't like to brag, but it worked well :j Wunna be able to recreate it mind, but it was nice and there is a lunch-size dollop left over to go in the freezer. Accompanied by Kodovan Mushroom Curry (the lime I used was very tasty, so the citrus hit was big - but spot on, with the coconut), lentil dhal and boiled rice.
I've just finished off a portion of grapes and greek yoghurt for pud. My life, so rich
Today i am grateful for these 3 things;
a catch-up snooze - knowing BG was perfectly safe

Good Morning :hello:
Hope your morning has started spiffingly
BG has presented their beloved Papa with 'handmade' cards and giftsSoooooo much better than 'bought without any real thought', so I'm already lobbing out a HUGE bundle of gratitude to all the adult hands that helped little hands make something that has brought such happiness. X
Breakfast has been taken. Scrambled eggs on toast with sriracha sauce or cheese on toast with no adornment, according to preference
DH has requested a day of gentle pootling today. I would have liked to have gone on an adventure, but still. Enjoyment can be had, so we'll enjoy family time together, wherever we are
Tea this evening is likely to be scampi bites and chips, with some side salad, although I did buy this as my 'cheat' tea, had we been heading away from the homestead. If I get the time or inclination, I may make something different, and 'save' the convenience food for when we really 'need' the convenience..........
Right, I'm gonna ease myself into 'pootling' mode. Have a good 'un

Handmade is surely the best thing ever when it comes to "Ha11m4rk" holidays. I'm very disappointed that DD didn't make one in school this year! DS did. Didn't matter too much as she made one at home instead.
