It gives discounts at various shops, cafes etc and you have to have a valid address in the Arun area to register, but it is free.
    Website addy is :http://www.sussexbythesea.com

The Manchester Leisure Pass is FREE courtesy of Manchester City Council.

Residents receive a discount at local leisure facilities (swimming, dry sports and health suite) at certain times.

Most people who pay their council tax to Manchester City Council are eligible, specifically postcodes M1 through M23 (except M5, M6 & M7)

    Full details:

    :)

Looks like we are spolied for choice in Manchester!

Both these cards offer something different, and I'll probably get the leisure pass one too as they both as they seem really worth having. The Citycard one is more for going out, which we do a lot of. Ive used it a couple of times already in the couple of days I've had it and it does seem very good for the money. Not sure If I'd use the lesiure pass one, but I do occasionally have a game of badminton so might be worth having.

Thanks for the tips guys, hopefully you'll help a bobby save a bob or two!

Looks like West Dorset Council only offer a leisure discount to the disabled/long-term sick:

(ironically disabled people must apply in person)

Swansea Council's Passport to Leisure offering upto 60% off for those claiming benefits and/or on a low income. Sorry no more details but none of the Swansea council websites are working at the time of posting!
Supposed link to scheme when site actually working:
    http://www.swansea.gov.uk/ptl

Another Swansea Council scheme - not sure who it's valid for as the site is down also - but includes at least children and over 60s...
