Beware UGG boot possible scam

Not sure if this is the right place for this post. I got an email yesterday from service@lachatweb.ch promoting discounted UGG boots. It redirected to http://www.bootsnn.com. Prices seem cheap, but not so cheap to be too good to be true. I proceeded with a purchase, but when it came to credit card page, it was not secure and did not have the padlock and https, so I abandoned the purchase. I checked website on scamadviser and it has a red warning, website only active 10 days, free email addresses, and originated from US or china.
Reminder to always check the padlock and https before putting in credit card details.
PS it might be genuine, but I am not prepared to risk it!

No address anywhere on the site, which was set up just over a week ago. At best, you'll get fakes, possibly high-cruelty ones.
There will be a lot of these in the run up to Christmas0 -
..and I suspect the credit card details would be sold and used for fraud0

Can you be cruel to nylon ?:D
The second site is selling uggs reduced from 300 dollars to 50? That is too cheap.
You can't buy sheepskin uggs under £100.
I wear them in winter0 -

Not to nylon, for sure, but genuine rabbit/dog fur is produced cheaply enough that it turns up in some surprisingly cheap Chinese products as trim :,-(

Yes terrible I agree.
Ugg boots are sheepskin so look nothing like fur thankfully.0 -
Ugg boots? Scam?
Who'd have thunk it?0 -
If you have a strong constitution then there is a video on a Chinese market where they skin animals. I wont say more but not one for the kids or squeamish.
If you buy UGGs from anywhere but the proper shops then you can expect them to be ripping you off.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
